SEASON OF FAVOR

TEXT: Isaiah 61:1-2 (TLB)

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the suffering and afflicted. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted, to announce liberty to captives, and to open the eyes of the blind. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of God’s favor to them has come, and the day of his wrath to their enemies.”

God is absolutely good. His loving kindness endures forever. His faithfulness to all generations. If you carefully take stock of your life, you will discover many instances God has been good to you. Whatever you recognize is what you become thankful for. Whatever you thank God for increases.

Favor is a natural expression of divine benevolence. It emanates from the sovereign will of God in bestowing that which is ultimately beneficial to His object of love. Recognize and be thankful to God for His blessings around you. As you do, “may He multiply you a thousand times more and bless you as He promised” in Jesus’ name. (see Deuteronomy 1:11 TLB).

I proclaim that your season of favor has come. Receive it, believe and act (confess it). You will experience it in Jesus’ name. One day of favor is worth over four hundred years of labor. When God favors you, you are made. After four hundred and thirty years of slavery, here is what the bible says concerning the children of Israel: “And the Lord gave the Israelis favor with the Egyptians, so that they gave them whatever they wanted. And the Egyptians were practically stripped of everything they owned!” (Exo 12:36 TLB). A season of favor is a season of total liberation and full restoration.

One encounter with Divine favor can transform your life forever. Divine favor is a supernatural force that can bring you anything else you need. It was the force of favor that transformed Joseph from a prisoner to a prime minister in Egypt. May you have an encounter with Divine favor that will accelerate you to the top of your career in Jesus’ name. One encounter with Divine favor so dramatically changed the narrative of a peasant virgin in Israel that forever she is made. Her name is Mary, the biological mother of Jesus Christ. Today, man’s surest connection to Divine favor is Jesus Christ, God’s son. The cross of Christ is God’s greatest display of unmerited favor. Anyone who rejects Christ is not wise.

ACTION POINT

Receive God’s favor today. Give your life to Jesus Christ. Say the simple prayer below:
Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Please have mercy on me and forgive all my sins. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, I unreservedly surrender my life to you. I confess that you died and rose from the dead for  me.  Please be my Lord and personal savior and grant me the grace to live for you all the days of my life. Thank you so much Lord Jesus. I proclaim I am born again. Amen.

PRAYER

• Worship God for He is good, and His mercy endures forever, His loving kindness to all generations
• Enumerate His acts of benevolence towards you. Give Him thanks for each. Praise His Holy name.
• Celebrate Jesus Christ for His finished work on the cross of Calvary. Thank Him profusely for the salvation of your soul
• Plead the blood of Jesus.
• Rededicate your life to Christ
• Ask the Lord to encompass you with favor like a shield
• Proclaim that your season of favor has come.
• Rejoice.

DECLARATION

Forever, may you be highly favored and blessed in Jesus’ name. Amen.
