COVENANT OF HEALING AND HEALTH (E)

I wish to recap some of the things that this fresh oil will do for you. This oil is the balm in Gilead. It is a healing balm; with this healing balm, you can bid the hospital goodbye. The presence of God guarantees you health, don’t substitute it for anything. Remember that God’s best for you is divine health as against divine healing. Divine health ensures that sickness and diseases shall be far away from you; I want you to press into this but for you to get there, you must be a carrier of the presence of God. May God help you in the name of Jesus.

I always want to emphasize five reasons why Christians fall sick when we are handling the covenant of health and healing.

1. Sin.
   Deal with the issue of sin. Take it off. If you fall sick, check your internal barometer, read it. Is there any way that you have missed God’s mark? Repent and return. The Bible says if we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:8-9).
   
2. Ignorance.
   Lack of knowledge. It is not limited to lack of knowledge, it also includes all erroneous and all true beliefs not amounting to knowledge. There are many believers who believe in error. Some people don’t believe in deliverance. I wonder how someone can read the Bible and yet not believe in deliverance. The Bible is a book of deliverance. Seventy-five percent of what Jesus did centers around deliverance issue. In fact, if you really want to summarize what Jesus came to do, you can say, “He came to set the captives free.” The Bible says these signs shall follow them that believe, in my name they shall cast out devils (Mark 16:17). The first sign that should follow a believer is not learning how to speak in tongues but casting out devils. How many devils have you cast out since you became a believer? It is lack of knowledge regarding the cessation, the path leading to the cessation and the time of cessation of unsatisfactoriness of things. The Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge. Through knowledge shall the just be delivered. Many people die not because of demons but because of lack of knowledge.
   
3. Satan and all his agents.
   They constitute a terrible source of sickness and pain. God has given us authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and power over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us (Luke 10:19). We have dominion. However, authority is useless unless it is enforced. This year, don’t allow the enemy to terrorize you. Make decrees. The Bible says suffer not a witch to live. You can stand on this scripture and destroy any witch and you will come out clean because you are acting upon the word of God. What you tolerate, you cannot change. Get angry in spirit, your body is not a spiritual dustbin. What business have you with sickness? Your body is supposed to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 3:17 says whatever defiles the temple of God, the Lord himself will destroy. When sickness comes to defile, to destroy and pervert, get angry and destroy it. God left us here in this world so that we may become change agents and be ambassadors of Christ. Since Jesus cast out devils, you should. “They shall lay their hands on the sick and they shall recover”. Laying your hands on the sick is part of it. Part of the blessings of this fresh oil is that you will smell fine. (Songs of Solomon 1:3). Your spiritual atmosphere will attract the blessings of God and not demons. The beautiful thing about the oil is that anyone that comes in contact with you will benefit from the oil. Press into the blessings of the fresh oil. Oil will lubricate your path and you will become unstoppable. No king reigned in Israel without the oil. It is not just healing oil, it is also the oil of enthronement. It is also the oil of restoration. Remember that it is what you recognize that you celebrate. What you celebrate is what you attract. That is why I keep emphasizing the importance of the oil. Spiritual Christians are very few in the world; if you want crowd, you have to lower standards. It is the oil of divine elevation, multiple honour, comprehensive victory, multiple open doors, bountiful fruitfulness, divine favour, flourishing. When you have the oil, you lack nothing. It is the oil of full restoration. One of the names of Jesus is the balm of Gilead. Celebrate the fresh oil that God has poured upon your head.
   
4. Carelessness.
   A lot of people eat carelessly. You must purpose in your heart not to be defiled like Daniel did. (Daniel 1:8)
   
5. Age.
   Old age.
