LESSONS FROM THE BEAUTIFUL GATE

2. All you need is one encounter with Jesus and your life will be completely transformed regardless of the situation you are facing.
The lame man expected money but got a miracle instead. Money can give you what you want but may not always give you what you need. There are people who have billions but they lack health. Money can give you a good house but never a good home. Money can give you a good food but never an appetite. Jesus connection is superior to money. Money can never give you your Jesus connection; it is superior to money. The devil is ready to give you anything in order to disconnect you from Jesus; he is ready to give you contracts and disconnect you. If you position yourself to chase God, things will chase you, contracts and businesses will chase and you will not even have time for them. It is not every open door that is from God. That is why if you chase money, you are likely to be disconnected from Christ. Learn to present every opportunity that comes your way before God. Ask questions – Lord, should I pursue? Will I overtake? Will I recover all? That was exactly what David did when he returned from an expedition and discovered that his camp had been raided; his wives and property carted away. David was a warrior yet he still had the presence of mind to seek the face of God even in the face of mutiny from his men, he inquired of God – should I pursue? Will I overtake? Will I recover all? God gave him the go ahead to pursue, overtake and recover all (1 Sam 30:8). When your heavenly Father is backing you up, no power can mess you up. There is danger in chasing money. Anything that will make you miss God, may you not chase in the name of Jesus. The truth is that what you chase will always be ahead of you so even when you apprehend it, you would have received some injuries. Some people do chase money and actually make some, however, in the process of chasing the money, they end up collecting problems that money cannot solve in the process. It is not every open door that is God’s door, some are satan’s trap. May you not fall into any of his traps. One thing that pushes people into satan’s trap is LUST. That is the banana peel that the devil has put in place to draw people out of God’s purpose for their lives. May you not fall into any of his traps in the mighty name of Jesus.

If I were you I will maximize my Jesus connection this year. May God help us to maximize our Jesus connection in the name of Jesus Christ. It guarantees you good life here and hereafter. It ensures that you succeed to succeed and that you don’t succeed to fail. You will have comprehensive success. What you have is much more than what the world can give. May you not throw away what you have to chase what the world can give in the name of Jesus.

• Lord, make it impossible for me to throw away what I have for what the world can give me in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Remember that it is the Christ connection that is the hope of your glory.

3. Faith in the name of Jesus Christ always gets the job done, no matter the nature of the job.
Faith in the name of Jesus – Do you have it? Faith in the name of Jesus will remove every mountain. Faith in the name of Jesus will reconstruct the paradigm. Faith in the name of Jesus will not only produce miracles in your life but make you a miracle worker; a miracle looking for where to happen. Are you ready for miracle after miracles? What you need is faith in the name of Jesus. Unwavering faith in the name of Jesus will get the job done.
