WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE OIL

7. Psa. 89:23, “And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him”. This is sweatless victories. When the Lord takes over your battles as a result of the fresh oil, you will begin to experience sweatless victories. The battle is no longer yours but the Lord’s. He will beat them down and plague them that hate you. You will become a ‘dangerous’ person to hate. You don’t joke with the anointing.

• Father, thank you for making this year our year of fresh oil; let it flow everywhere. Let the oil of your presence speak for us everywhere. Let your blessings increase and multiply and let your name be magnified in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Every work of art has a spirit and that is why believers should not play worldly music. Some people try to rationalize it but no matter how good the wordings of the song, what about the spirit? Go beyond the lyrics to the spirit, that is, the spirit that gave the song. If it is not the Holy Spirit, it is not good enough for you. If it is not Holy Spirit birthed and you key into it, it will definitely corrupt, distort and pervert while bringing in other spirits. This will influence your behavior and attitude. The Lord will not allow you to be corrupted or defiled in the name of Jesus Christ. 

The Holy Spirit is the only spirit you can trust because he is the spirit of truth, he is the spirit of grace, he is the spirit of purity, he is the spirit of sanctification and the spirit of Jesus Christ. There are human spirits, evil spirits, demonic spirits which empower people; some of them can even enrich people financially. That is why whoever is desperate to make it at all cost is already going in the wrong direction. Anybody who can do anything to make money is very dangerous because he is likely to contract other spirits. The devil is ready to give you money in exchange for your soul and many people are ready to throw away their souls for the money. May we be wise in our generation and be able to discern that it is not everything that glitters that is gold, in the name of Jesus Christ.

You can trust the Holy Spirit completely; he is the spirit of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel and might; he is the spirit of fear of the Lord.
