THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE OIL (CONT’D.)

9. Overflow.
You will walk in overflow dimension of the mercies of God, of the goodness of God and overflow of the blessings of God. Psa. 23:5, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over”. Immediately on receiving the fresh oil, you will have the overflow. Nobody can stop the overflow of God’s blessing. No one can close any good door that God opens for you – doors of blessing, doors of breakthroughs, doors of financial prosperity, doors of matrimonial prosperity, doors of international and intercontinental connections. It is not going to be by your power or might. The spirit of the Lord is moving all over the world opening doors of nations for us in this ministry. Prophecies are being fulfilled. It is important that we know this and align properly. To be ignorant is to be vulnerable to the antics of the antichrist. The one who is opposed to the purpose of God for your life is not folding his hands; he is very much at work and at war. He has declared war and unfortunately a lot of people are still doing business as usual because they neither know the time nor the season. They are still busy chasing what should be chasing them. The only wise thing anyone can chase this season is God. If you become a God chaser, what others are chasing will chase you. Jesus said, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things will follow (Matt 6:33). The devil, however, has a different message – seek ye first the kingdom of mammon and all its unrighteousness and other things will be yours. He goes on to tell people that they don’t need God’s commandment – do that what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law – just do it. He can do this because he knows that he has a lot of people at the jugular; he knows that the average man has sold his heart to him. Man lost it when he gave his will to the will of the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Thereafter, man’s will became unified with the will of the serpent. It is the grace of God that brought salvation, that separates, re-creates, and removes the serpent in the garden of the heart. Thereafter, he gives you a brand new heart and positions you to see clearly and think heavenly thoughts. One of the tragedies of life is seeing people chase money to the grave – kingdom of mammon and its unrighteousness. It is saddening to see that the Church has left her main purpose of existence of making disciples to start raising billionaires. Poverty is bad, it is one of the things that Jesus came to rectify but that is not the main purpose of the Church. Jesus died in order to make us like unto himself so that we can become sons. The Church ought to be raising disciples – disciples are disciplined followers of Christ. It is a very big blunder. Many messages coming from our pulpits today cannot raise any spiritual Christian; most of these messages cannot raise any disciple of Christ. That is why it is becoming increasingly difficult to even transact business with some Church goers without being duped. If you teach prosperity without first of all raising worshippers, you will produce idolaters. Worship is not what you do. Worship is who you are. There is much departure and it all started when man started subverting the will of God. Once you start doing this, you are gradually drifting from the cross. What is Jesus’ prescription for discipleship? Take up my cross and follow me (Luke 9:23). The message of the cross is becoming scarce and dedicated to only Easter period. This should not be the case if the church is to raise disciples.

• Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the wonderful provisions you have made for my wellbeing here and here after. Grant me the grace to align my will to your will, so that your purpose will be fulfilled in every facet of my life. I thank you for the finished work of your son on the cross at Calvary. I give you all the glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
