AN ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS THE HEALER III

For God so loved the world that he GAVE. Meditate on the character of God that wants to bestow that which is ultimately beneficial to you. This should make you fall in love with him. It should make you tremble, reverence him and enable you place more value in your walk with him. You will not settle for anything less. God has given us the best, why settle for less? Just because salvation is free, some people think it is cheap. Salvation is free but not cheap. It cost God his best!

Isa. 53:4-6, “Surely, he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all”. 

He was not a sinner but he was made sin for us so that we can be declared guiltless. He carried it on the cross; the cross remains our greatest divine prescription for every man’s malady; every evil on earth, every curse that was pronounced on the earth when man fell, everything that the enemy did wrongly, every distress, disease, death, demotion, and disharmony that came as a result of the fall of man was rectified on the cross. Celebrate the wisdom of God that made this happen.

Origin of sickness

Every sickness is a product of disobedience. The fall of man brought sickness on humanity. Every tragedy in life is traceable to one command disobeyed. Every tragedy in life can be traced to disobedience. Why was it easy for man to disobey God? Wrong placement of value! That is the reason why we must get it right in the place of worship. You cannot worship what you do not value. The greatest problem of man is misplacement of value. You can’t worship what you have not recognized. At the heart of worship is placement of value. If you trivialize the grace of God, there is no how you can access it. If the first Adam were a true worshipper, he would never have believed the lie of the devil, he would never have disobeyed. Before you disobey an instruction, you must have devalued not only the instruction but also the instructor.

• Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for the privilege of knowing you. I worship and adore you for your wisdom and your loving kindness to me. I ask O God that you grant me the grace to place utmost value on my relationship with you. Thank you so much for the greatest miracle of salvation in Jesus’ name.
