Origin of sickness

The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest display of grace and glory of God. If you remove cross you remove truth. If you remove truth from love, you will produce lust. It is barbaric, carnal and a perversion. Anywhere you find lust, you will find corruption. That is why there is so much corruption everywhere today, even in the Church! 

You can never produce a disciple if you remove the cross. “And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). Religion is always seeking what to worship, self-satisfaction and not devotion to God, the Supreme Being. That is why every religious fanatic is an idolater. Religious fanaticism is nothing but extreme devotion to self. If your leader has misled you away from the cross, return to the cross. We are supposed to carry the cross daily and not only on Good Friday. 

Wrong theology will end in hell fire and that is why we try as much as possible to straighten it in this ministry. This is born out of love. The only message that God has given us in this ministry, after series of encounters, is the bride’s message. Jesus did not come down to entertain anyone; as a matter of fact, he was so furious that he used a whip to chase away merchants and money changers out of the temple. If you study Church history, you will discover that the devil has not really changed his strategy. Error multiplies errors and it comes in cycles. There was a time in the Church when people were told that if their loved one dies and his soul is in purgatory that once  they did penance (which is to bring money and organize a special mass), immediately their money lands in the coffers of the Church, that soul will jump out of purgatory into heaven. Pentecostals who came to reform brought this back many years after in a different way, they call it seed sowing. When they get into this seed sowing theology, the finances of the Church surges automatically. 

You must be very careful; if you follow a wrong doctrine, you may build mansions and empires but what next?  Every preacher of the gospel, including myself, must be very careful of empire building. Are you an empire builder? The spirit of Nimrod (empire building) is a very powerful spirit and that spirit is ravaging Africa. Without the cross, you can never produce a disciple of Christ – a disciple is a disciplined follower of Christ not a lackadaisical follower. Jesus carried for us an emblem of shame and dishonor and that is why a lot of people don’t like it. That was why he was despised.

• Everlasting and most merciful father, I thank you for the generous provision you have made for my well-being here and hereafter. I thank you for your grace and loving kindness that procured my salvation through the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I proclaim that the victory of my Lord Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary is my victory. Thank you dear heavenly father in Jesus’ name. Amen.
