WHO IS YOUR SHEPHERD? I

It is always a privilege to be in the presence of God where there is fullness of joy. Never you take it for granted because a lot of people are serving an unknown god; a god that they cannot even afford to call ‘Father’. Celebrate God. Thank him because we know the way, we are not guessing, we are not in doubt, we are serving the living God.

Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is the way of life through Christ. Bless the Lord for leading you; don’t ever take it for granted. What if you were born differently, a lot of people were born into idolatry and other religions of this world but God in his infinite mercy chose to reveal himself to you. Thank God that we can worship him freely in an unfettered and free atmosphere. Don’t take that for granted. In some parts of the world, this is not possible. A lot of Christians are facing serious persecution. This is what happens when evil becomes the order of the day.

Some Christians go through gruesome murder for saying the truth just because some people are mandated to kill in the name of religion. A religion that makes you kill cannot be right. That is why Christianity is not a religion.

Religion is fallen man’s attempt to find the true God. Christianity is, loving God’s attempt to find fallen man. You can see the difference clearly. These people kill and yet justify it because their religion permits it. Religion programmes people to become monsters, to become demonic while Christianity makes you to become Christlike. If you follow the path of religion you will never make it to heaven because it is not the way. The wrong way cannot lead to the right destination. In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Pray –

• Lord, I thank you that I am connected to the way. I thank you for going the extra mile to reach out to find me. Thank you for loving me so much that you sent your Son to die so that I can connect to you and call you Father and so that I can have relationship with you.
• I bless and magnify your name, wonderful Daddy, the holy One of Israel. Mighty God. None can compare with you. Blessed be your name in Jesus’ name.
