The greatest thing that will make people miss the rapture is unpreparedness. Study the parable of the ten virgins. A lot of people will be too busy doing their own thing just as it was in the days of Noah. Those things are not really wrong in themselves – what to eat, what to wear, appointments – chasing these things and forgetting the real thing. Suddenly, as people are busy chasing those things, the trumpet will sound and only those who are prepared shall be raptured. You are not going to fly on anyone else’s oil.

The oil represents your connection to the Holy Spirit; your relationship with the Holy Spirit. It is so easy to disconnect from the Holy Spirit and pursue other things. Your pursuits determine where you will end and what you will have. What you pursue is a measure of your worship. You pursue what you value. You give attention to what you value. Each and every one of us is chasing something. What is uppermost in your heart is what you truly love and that is why Jesus said you cannot serve God and mammon. You cannot be a God chaser and the chaser of money. Today, how many messages are preparing people for the next major prophetic event that will happen – the rapture of the true Church. How ready are you?

We need to return to the old time Christianity that prepared us more for heaven. You cannot connect to heaven and be earthly useless. If you are, then check your connection. It is not the true heaven.

When God wants to change your music, he brings you in contact with a prophetic anointing that will reschedule a season for you. The biblical definition of a season is (time is a generic terms that measures) a particular time frame in which God decides to move in a particular way in somebody’s life or in the history of a nation or in his dealings with man. You have a season within a time. For instance, Jesus Christ lived for thirty (30) years before his season came. The duration of his season was three and half years. He knew this because when his mother wanted him to perform a miracle, he answered that his time has not yet come. He was referring to his season. I hereby pronounce a change of season for you. I hereby pronounce a breaking point of new season for you in the name of Jesus.

Psa. 23:5, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” We are serving such an awesome God. The presence of the enemy does not determine what you become. The presence of the enemy does not determine what you are going to obtain. The presence of the enemy does not determine the height you are going to attain. The presence of the enemy does not stop the blessings of God from getting to your life even to overflow dimension. Right in the presence of the enemy, God can set a table before you. The enemy will see what the God is about to do in your life and be grieved. The expectations of the wicked concerning you shall perish.

If you know this, you will realize that the problem is not the enemy anymore. You will be less enemy conscious. The enemy can hinder you only as you allow him. Meditate on the awesomeness of God. Meditate on the faithfulness of God. Meditate on the omniscient nature of God. Meditate on the omnipresence nature of God. Meditate on the omnipotence of God then tell me what the enemy can do stop what God is about to do in your life. Tell me how the enemy can stop you from ascending the thrown that God has ordained for your destiny. Tell me how the enemy can stop you from taking delivery of the blessings that God has set before you. God knew that the enemy was there when he set the table.

Pray –

  • Everlasting and most merciful Father, I thank you for the table you have set for me right in the presence of my enemies. I thank you because no power can stop me from being all you want me to be and accomplishing all you want me to do. I bless and magnify your name in Jesus’ name.
