LET GOD ARISE I

Whichever part of the world you are, you need not be told that these are not ordinary times at all. We need God to arise. It is only divine intervention that can save the situation in the world today. It is only divine intervention that can save this nation from total disintegration. It is that bad. These are not normal times when you can pray normal prayers and act normally. A time comes when you just have to discern the situation, the environment and the times and then come to terms with reality and confront issues.

You cannot solve any problem by avoiding it. The only way to solve a problem is by defining and confronting it. This nation has lived in denial for so many years. The message I have for the nation is the same as that which apostle Paul preached to the Galatians in Gal. 3:1, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?” The bad thing about evil is that it eventually puts on flesh if allowed to fester. That is why wise people do not allow it to birth because the evil you tolerate eventually becomes a Frankenstein monster which contaminates in order to consume. Where were the elders at the gate?

If you don’t set your priorities right, you will not even realize when the enemy has entered into your penalty box. You must get your focus right. What are you chasing? If God has really called you to be a man of God, what else do you want to be? This is very important because if you show me the Church, I will show you the direction of the nation. Who will heal the land? God is not looking for unbelievers.

The divine prescription is, “if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land” (2 Chro. 7:14). The first thing is to acknowledge, it takes humility to admit that things are wrong. The nation is thoroughly messed up. God needs to arise.

Things are not normal. Something is seriously wrong. When those who are supposed to be healing agents in the nation now need healing, then you should know that these are not normal times. When those who are supposed to be deliverers now need deliverance in a powerful way, then you will come to terms with the fact that things are not normal. Who will deliver the redeemed? God needs to arise.

The situation is so bad that the nation is now on life support. This is as a result of the Church’s failure to checkmate evil when it was in incubation. This evil has now put on flesh. How can you enthrone evil and expect good? We need to pray because the healing of this land must begin from the Church. The message of prosperity brought into the Church a lot of charlatans and from that time, the direction of the Church changed. Money became the bottom-line. The Church became like the world, the world became like the Church. So, who will save who? That is why God must arise in this nation. The rod of the wicked must not rest upon the lot of the righteous lest the righteous put forth their hand unto iniquity.

Pray –

• Everlasting and most merciful Father, I worship and adore you; I bless and magnify your precious name in Jesus’ name. Grant me the grace to love you above all else in my heart—to love what you love and to hate what you hate. Grant me the grace never to condone evil in any area of my life and make me an enforcer of righteousness in this generation in Jesus’ name.
