NO HOPELESS SITUATION I

Meditate on the fact that Jesus arose and you will beat the devil hands down. There is no hopeless situation for a child of God; don’t allow the devil lie to you. Are you a child of God, no case is hopeless. Every child of God has a lively hope. Hopelessness is one of the lies the devil goes about selling to people today.

I read in the newspapers that about sixty million people in this nation have mental health issues. All over the world today a lot of people are battling with depression. One of the terrible things that accompany depression is the spirit of suicide. Depression is the spirit of the valley, it takes people to the valley and the moment they get there they start having encounter with other spirits manifesting there one of which is the spirit of death. The person now begins to have suicide tendencies. Such a person starts hearing voices saying, “what are you living for? You have failed and there is no hope for you.”

The devil is a liar, his demons and agents do not tell any truth. You cannot find truth in the mouth of an agent of darkness. If you are a child of God and dating an unbeliever, you are in a serious mess. If you are a child of God and someone brings a juicy business proposal to you and you are not asking questions like what is the spirit ruling this person, then you need to study John 8:44, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Anyone who is not a child of God is a child of the liar and because he carries the gene of lying; he will do it naturally and effortlessly. Lack of understanding of this leads to catastrophe.

The most important responsibility of leadership is guidance and in order to guide properly, you must know the direction. If you don’t know the direction, you will lead people to hell. Any time a child of the devil takes over leadership, things begin to go down. Don’t expect too much from an unbeliever, kingdom of darkness and from someone whose father is a liar. How can you expect a liar to keep his word? Once you don’t have the spirit of truth inside of you, you are not a child of God at all (Rom 8:9 TLB). In the final analysis, everyone will end in the house of their owner.

As a young unmarried lady, if someone who you know is not a child of God comes to ask for your hand in marriage and you decide to accept, you have signed your will to hell. If a child of the devil comes on any political platform and promises you heaven and earth and you fail to ask questions before going to cast your vote for that person, you have yielded your will to the will of a child of the devil. If this is not sin, I don’t know what else is. What direction do you think that things will move in a place where the devil is leading? down! If you are in an ungodly relationship, I plead with you, please break it before it breaks you.

Depression is the spirit of the pit and it is the lie that the devil tells people to make them think that there is no hope for them. I put it to you that whatever the devil says is always a lie because he is a liar from the beginning. Whatever any of his agents says is a lie because he does not have the spirit of truth. Whoever does not have the spirit of truth cannot tell the truth, neither can he live it.

If you have a liar as your boss and he keeps sending you on errands which you know are very wrong, you will be foolish to obey him. What you can do is to take a written evidence of every communication with him because somebody must take responsibility for the action. The children of God must take note of this. Jesus surveyed things in his days on earth and said the children of the world appear to be wiser in their generation than the children of light (Luke 16:8). Be very careful when dealing with someone who does not have the spirit of Christ. Be careful even in the Church because it is not everyone you find in the Church that is a true Child of God.

• Heavenly God your name be hallowed. Glory and praise be unto you forever. I ask you to fill me with Christ to overflowing, till the world no longer sees me, but Christ shinning through me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
