rod of the righteous

4. The rod of the righteous has to be lifted for victory.
You can have the rod but if you don’t know how to lift it, victory will elude you. The power base of the righteous is from heaven, the lifting is the connection. When you lift the rod of the righteous, God backs it up, he releases the power and there shall be victories. Exo. 17:11, “And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.”

5. The rod of the righteous is for dominion.
Exo. 7:10-12, “And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.” The battle in the field is a battle of rods. As you train your children, ensure that you train them to be spiritually consolidated. A lot of parents make the mistake of concentrating so much on career that they forget the spiritual aspect of life. If you are not consolidated, you are not ready to climb the corporate ladder because it is a battlefield. It is the battle of rods; everyone comes with their own rod. It is also the battle of altars, everyone comes from their own altars. Are you prepared? If you are properly connected and you have the rod of the righteous, you will not fear the rod of Pharaoh’s magicians because the rod of the righteous will swallow up the rod of the magicians. The rod of the righteous is built on truth and will therefore swallow up every lie. The rod of the righteous is for dominion over darkness, poverty, scarcity and lack – it is for comprehensive dominion.

6. The rod of the righteous is for correction.
Today, people no longer want to be corrected. Prov. 22:15, “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.” When children behave foolishly it is understandable but when adults do, then it becomes serious because whenever adults decide to be foolish, they add stubbornness to it.
