2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (THE PRESENCE OF GOD AS THE GREATEST BARRIER BURSTER VI)
This is a Psalm of God’s presence. I love the Psalmist because he was a man addicted to the presence of God. That is why God used him mightily. Whatever God uses gets enhanced. Whenever God calls you to do something, start celebrating immediately. God is not a dumper. Whatever you hand over to God is not wasted, it gets enhanced. When God asked me to surrender my paid employment, I struggled with it because I was at the peak of my career. However, looking back, I bless the name of the Lord that I complied.
Today, I have more time to devote to things that really matter; things that have eternal value. Today, by the grace of God, this ministry is impacting one hundred and eighty three (183) nations of the world. We are still moving; bearing fruits to the glory of God. Nothing satisfies more, absolutely, nothing.
Fullness of joy cannot be found elsewhere apart from the presence of God. A lot of Christians proclaim this but do they really live it? Do they believe it enough to trust him? Rather, they are busy chasing other things.
Jesus said no man who puts his hand on the plough and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62). If you have found Jesus and you are still looking for something else, the Jesus you found cannot be genuine. May we not be deceived. May we not be derailed. May we not become stumbling blocks to those who look up to us in the mighty name of Jesus. This is very important especially for pastors because leadership is 99.9% direction. If you miss the direction, you have been misled. Anybody who is not thinking heaven should not aspire to be a pastor.
“When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.”
Psalm 114
The presence of God in our lives makes mountains to skip. As we progress into the year, every barrier will skip. It is the presence of God that will make it happen. The sea will see the power of the presence of God and be driven back. The red sea will divide and we shall cross over. Mountains will skip like rams. No obstacle or barrier will be strong enough to debar you from entering into the fullness of your allotted inheritance because of the power of the presence of God.
How does the power of the presence of God move? It is through divine connection. Your God connection is your greatest success factor. The devil is aware of this and that is why he gets you encumbered – busy here and there, lacking focus. Spiritual power is focus. Once you are partially connected you cannot be powerful enough to confront mountains. There are some levels of divine interventions that no one can experience until your obedience is complete according to 2 Cor. 10:4-6.
Pray –
- Heavenly Father I thank you for your loving kindness towards me. I ask you for grace to be addicted to your presence, and be complete in obedience to your word and the promptings of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name, amen.
