SEVEN BARRIERS TO ELIMINATE FOR OUR MIRACLES TO HAPPEN

5. Occult involvement.

“Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

Exodus 23: 24-26 KJV

Occultists are satanists; they have sold their soul to satan and it is so easy to get involved in it one way or the other. There is resurgence of it in the world today in various dimensions. There are so many occultic practices in the world. There are so many practices that are antithetical to the New Testament Christianity. A syncretic Church is an occultic Church because of mixture of spirits. In such Churches, a lot of spiritual acrobatics take place.

Pray –

• If I have ever strayed into occultic practice that constitutes a barrier to my miracle, today I repent. Please have mercy on me and clear every occultic barrier to my miracle, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
• O God, let my miracle happen, let my prayer ascend and let Jesus be celebrated in Jesus’ name.

6. Unscriptural covenants.

“And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee. Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in the land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.”

Exodus 23:31-33 KJV

A covenant is an agreement that is binding between two or more people. A pretty lady walked into my office many years back, she had an issue. When she was still at the university she entered into an unscriptural covenant with a young man who was in the same department with her and agreed that they would get married in future. They entered into a blood covenant after cutting themselves with blade and licking the blood of each other. This ‘simple’ transaction almost destroyed the destiny of this lady. I have never come across anyone that was as demonized as that lady. I couldn’t believe what I saw; the demons were very angry almost tearing her apart. Her beauty completely dissolved during the deliverance session. This is so common. Today, in the African setting, a lot of marriages are done through mixture of covenants. We should realize that we are operating a high level covenant through Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ is the blood of everlasting covenant. Zech. 9:11 says,

“As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.”

Zech. 9:11 KJV

One of the reasons why people fall into the pit of oppression and affliction is because of evil covenants and if done by blood, it becomes very binding. This is one of the reasons why a lot of issues linger. This is one of the reasons why some people fast for one hundred days with no result.

Pray –

• Father, roll away every evil covenant that is still in my blood, let it dissolve and disappear in Jesus’ name. amen.
