2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (REND THE HEAVENS 3A)

I expect that one of your greatest desires this year should be to walk more closely with God than you have ever done. If that is your desire, may it become a prayer answered in the name of Jesus Christ. In your prayer requests, how many of the things you wrote have eternal value? I want you to revisit your prayer points, itemize them and classify them according to the things that have eternal value and the mundane things. That is what determines the kind of Christian you actually are. If you show me your prayer points, I will tell you immediately where you stand. Ensure that not all of your prayer requests center on what to eat or what to get. May we major more on what to be instead.

Who are you? The things that really matter more are things that make us consolidated children of the most high God in spirit and in truth. When heaven looks at you, how will you be classified? That is the most important classification. It is not in the titles we have here or our ecclesiastical accolades. These things do not really matter in the spirit. Who you really are is what matters.

True Christian maturity is falling in love over and over again with Jesus Christ; becoming more and more like him. We are called to be like him. We are called to be his ambassadors. We are called to be enforcers of righteousness in this sick world, to be healing agents, to be the light of the world, a city set on hill top that cannot be hidden. We will not fail God in our generation in the name of Jesus Christ.

Every passing moment brings us closer and closer to eternity. May we never gamble with eternity in the name of Jesus. That is the dumbest and most foolish thing to do. May we mean business with God and really major of things that have eternal value; may these be our main focus as we progress. May heaven continue to smile at us. May heaven be more real to us than any earthly thing can ever be. This is one of my favourite prayers. May you desire the things that make heaven happy. When those desires are met, you will find real fulfillment.

However, if your desires are only on things that will make you happy, the things of this world, when those desires are met, you will find out that there are more desires. You will then ask yourself this question – is that all? Nothing can satisfy more than being right at the centre of God’s will for your destiny; making progress. When heaven smiles at you, there is nothing more rewarding, nothing is more satisfying than when your heavenly Fathers calls your name and says ‘well done’. I pray that you will have heavenly encounters immeasurably, boundlessly in the mighty name of Jesus.

To do God’s work acceptably when there are so many options is not an easy thing; it has never been. There are so many banana peels out there and all it takes to fall is to make one wrong choice. May God not allow such to happen to us in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prophetic declarations

• My prayer is that anything that is capable of making you misstep will never come your way; no banana peel will make you slip in the name of Jesus Christ.
• The guiding light of God will continue to shine upon your path and you will be spot-on in your decisions in the name of Jesus.
• You will not be drawn away by lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life.
• Every passing moment will keep you progressively sanctified more and more in the name of Jesus.
• You will have more and more of God and your desire will be to be more and more like Christ. That is what really matters.
