2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (PRAYER CONCERTO II)

If every pulpit will confront the spiritual problems facing African nations on a Sunday, there will be a total turn around within a short time. You cannot concentrate on praying for yourself alone, you need to pray for your environment because whatever happens in your bigger environment will affect you. When it comes to confronting evil, you should not be gentle in the realm of the spirit so you don’t become a casualty.

A renowned Nigerian pastor enjoined young people to ensure that they pray for few hours daily before going into marriage. The social media went berserk and criticized the pastor. This is arrogance of foolishness. Meanwhile, the pastor was saying the truth! If you are not ready to pray, don’t aspire to marry; husband is not a title. It is a ministry. It is warfare. When you pray, you are confronting wicked powers that have sold their souls to the devil and they know that they have no life after this life. The unfortunate thing is that they have already entered into ‘the departure lounge’ of their lives.

“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness”.

Acts 4:31, KJV

Are you ready to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit? Prayer impacts the supernatural. It releases the supernatural. Prayer empowers. Prayer consolidates. Prayer makes dynamic power available according to James 5:16,

“Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray (also) for one another, that you may be healed and restored (to a spiritual tone of mind and heart). The ernest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)”.

James 5:16, AMP

Do you want to be unstoppable? Become prayerful. Do you want to succeed in everything you do going forward? Just become prayerful. The devil trembles when the weakest Christian prays. That is why he will do everything possible to keep you from praying by keeping you busy. Some of these things are not really sinful, they are necessary but a wise person knows how to prioritize. May you prioritize the presence of God. May we be people who know how to prioritize our God connection in the name of Jesus Christ.

If you are busy here and there, you cannot be effective. Study the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10. Martha was busy majoring on things that did not really matter while Mary stayed in the presence of Jesus. She ‘parked’ where Jesus was. True faith is the correct placement of value; placing your value on what really matters. When Martha complained to Jesus saying, Master, you can see that I am the only one doing all the chores in this home while Mary is just lazying about and you allowed it! Jesus replied saying, only one thing matters and Mary has found it, she has made the right choice. May we be people who always make the right decisions in the mighty name of Jesus.

Nothing can compare with your divine connection. The God factor is the greatest success factor. If you want to have comprehensive success (the success that succeeds) learn to maximize your divine connection, your God factor. If it is God that is leading you, when you hit the first heaven, you are just beginning. Are you ready to glide?

Nobody can take the glory for any of the major accomplishments in my life; flesh and blood cannot. I lost my father at the age of nine. Everything that has ever happened to me was by divine connection. In the place of prayer, don’t come in the name of your earthly father, come in the name of Jesus, come by the blood of Jesus. The name of Jesus gives you access to his lordship. The blood of Jesus gives you access to his throne of grace.

Are you ready for a special divine connection? The starting point is repentance.

Pray –

• Lord, I am sorry. I acknowledge that many times I have looked up to people instead of looking up to you. My help comes from you. I will lift up my eyes unto you from whence commeth my help? My help comes from you Lord, who made heaven and earth.
• Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent of trusting in the arm of flesh instead of looking up to you. I ask for forgiveness. I ask for cleansing. I ask you to help me in Jesus’ name.
