2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (PRAYER CONCERTO III)

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”.

Ephesians 3:20 KJV

There is no one simple way to effectively express the abilities of God. His power is limitless. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above, beyond our expectation only through his power that continues to work in us. That is where the proviso is. On the part of God, there is no limit but on the part of man, there is limitation because the power of God can be blocked. A lot of people seeking God today do not really understand this scripture. That is the reason why they come to the elementary conclusion that what God cannot do does not exist.

There are several things that God cannot do. His ability is limitless, (you need to understand this), but you can limit his power. God can answer all your prayers but if you have a little iniquity in your heart, your prayer will not fly. God cannot violate his absolutes. You can constrain him.

“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear; But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness”.

Isaiah 59:1-3 KJV

The sin that you carry can short-circuit your God connection and neutralize it. Do you know that if you have unforgiveness in your heart, God will not answer your prayer? Psa. 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me”.

God is not a magician, he does everything he can do according to the counsel of his own will (Eph. 1:11). You need to understand this. Several times, people cry to God for divine intervention but God is saying, Son, daughter, learn my order of things. The limitless power of God can be reduced to zero. I can prove this mathematically. God’s power is infinity raised to power infinity over zero. You can however reduce this power to zero by “over-resistance”. The same thing applies to the anointing. Jesus could not do much in his home town because of their unbelief. Unbelief is a well blocker, a neutralizer of prayer.

We can come before God, pray and pray and pray and entertain ourselves and go back home but no, that is not the essence of this prayer concerto. The essence is that as we are led by the Holy Spirit we will all present our prayer requests and all of them will become answered prayers. For that to happen, we must learn God’s order of things.

Ensure that you pray from your heart. This is because in the place of prayer, God listens more to what your heart is saying than what your tongue is speaking. Our eternal bridegroom will look at you and say,

“O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely” .

Songs 2:14 KJV

Whenever you approach God, remember that you are going into the holiest place, you are approaching the holiest One, the One who is absolutely holy, a thrice holy God.

Remember that the highest form of prayer is prophetic praise. If you don’t know how to mix praise with prayer, it may be a bit dry. But when you combine it, you will say like David, I was glad when they say, let us come unto the house of the Lord (Psalm 122:1). The presence of God is to be enjoyed. I pray that this year, you will have heavenly encounters that will make you enjoy the joy that knows no bound.

The Bible says in his presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). I have experienced this. Nothing satisfies like being caught up in heavenly worship. As your worship, your perspective will change. Everything down here is like toy. One of the ways to identify those who are earthbound is by what they are chasing. If you are not a God chaser, check it. Something is wrong. The greatest pursuit is God. That is why Jesus said seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and other things will pursue you (Matt 6:33).

“For verily I say unto you, That whatsoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.

Mark 11:23 KJV

The problem of man is that he says just once and quits. Yet he expects it. You have to continue to say so that you can have what you say. Confession goes before possession. It is a law. That is why you must mind your confession. A lot of people confess themselves into bondage. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Prov. 18:21).

• Dear Heavenly Father, I worship and adore you. I celebrate your awesome power. Grant me a pure and perfect heart, so that my prayer be not hindered in Jesus’ name, amen.
