PROPHETIC PRAISE I

Jesus is the way. If you tell this to an intellectual, he will query it. Anyone who misses the way will end up nowhere. Unfortunately, a lot of people have missed it completely. They are looking for God where God is not; looking for an unknown God, a God who has been perverted in their mind.

It is a wonderful thing for you to be connected to the truth of the word of God that leads you to God. It is to God through Jesus, no other way. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). No one can come to God except through him.

Whatever you do in the presence of God must be done out of your heart. It is so easy to get mechanical even in our relationship with God. In the presence of God, he listens more to your heart than what you say. It is so easy to play Church and miss God. It is so easy to pray and pray amiss. Any prayer that is not from the heart is an exercise in futility. Every worship that is not heartfelt is empty, fake and not the true worship. God is still looking for those who will worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). You must be part of the true worshippers.

When you prophetically praise God, God himself will move. When you pray, God sends an angel but when you praise especially prophetically, he comes down. Why? It is because God inhabits the praises of his people (Psa. 22:3).

If you don’t know how to discern spirits, you will not make right decisions. One of the best things that happened to me is that I entered into ministry through intercession and progressively, the Lord led me into spiritual warfare and he began to show me spirits and that was how I entered into the deliverance ministry. I just didn’t go into it, it was through praying with people with long standing difficulties. You get to a point where the spirits begin to manifest and the only thing you can do to get the problems solved is to deal with the spirits by casting them out and then you will have solution. You don’t deal with spiritual things superficially and expect to get a solution. Anything that conquers one spiritually has conquered the person physically.

The responsibility of leadership is direction; to show the way. Any leader that does not know the way cannot show it. The greatest tragedy is to follow a leader who does not know the way.

When we were growing up, some of the things that we were taught in the Roman Catholic Church were right; some are wrong. I learnt one of the best definitions of God from my catechism. Who is God? God is a Spirit. The One who is greater than the greatest. The self-existing One who does not have a beginning or ending. He is also the creator of the entire universe. The people who worded this were well seasoned lawyers who were proficient in drafting. I have pursued theological education to doctorate degree and I can tell you authoritatively that this definition is very correct. However, there are no big sins and no small sins. A lot of people grow up with this mentality. Any sin is enough to make you miss heaven.

PRAY –

• Father, do not allow anything that is capable of making me to miss heaven to happen to me.
• Make it impossible for me to follow a leader who does not know the way.

Never follow a leader who does not know THE WAY. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE (JOHN 14:6). Celebrating CHRISTMAS without CHRIST is celebrating superfluity of naughtiness. We celebrate Jesus – His essence, substance, and finished work on the cross at Calvary.
