QUENCHING THE RAGE OF THE HEATHEN II

One of the things that the rage of the heathen does is that it makes it difficult for the righteous to do business righteously without staining their hands. They cause the people of God to take decisions that are contrary to the word of God, to stain their hands so that they will not be able to ascend. Meanwhile, it is only those who ascend that will receive.

Pray –

• Father, I present my heart before you, please purify my heart. Give me a clean heart, give me a pure heart, give me a perfect heart in the name of Jesus.
• I saturate my heart with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, cleanse my heart from every impurity and make my heart pure and perfect before you in the name of Jesus. Thank you ancient of days, in Jesus’ name.

The soul is the seat of the mind, the will and the emotions. Your mind is your thinking self. Your will is your deciding self. Your emotion is your feeling self. When you say, I think, the mind is at work. When you say, I feel, your emotion is at work. When you say, I will, your deciding self, your will is at work. It is so easy to have idols in the garden of the heart. The Lord will not allow your soul to be lifted to vanity in the mighty name of Jesus. Idolatry is all about lifting one’s soul to vanity. That is the greatest problem of the world today. Corruption is one of the effects and not the cause of idolatry, it is one of the offshoots. Idolaters cannot fight corruption. Idolatry is nothing but perversion of worship. Worship is whatever you place value on. Whatever you place side by side God in your heart has become your god! Today, the god of the nations is money; that is why they worship it.

Pray –

• Ask God to cleanse you from every trace of idolatry be it modern day idolatry or the primitive one that is still being celebrated in a lot of places in the name of culture and tradition.
• Father, please look upon us, you know where we are coming from, please, cleanse us from idolatry, every form of it be it modern day idolatry which is the love of money under whatever guise or any form of it. You know our hearts nothing is hidden before you, Father cleanse us and make us pure.
• I renounce every claim of idolatry over my destiny and throw down every vanity in the name of Jesus. Thank you blessed Lord, in Jesus’ name.
