QUENCHING THE RAGE OF THE HEATHEN III
What do you say with your mouth? The standard has been so lowered that it is difficult to really ascend if you are an African. People say things they don’t even expect you to believe. When you believe their words, they believe that they are smart. You just have to trust the Holy Spirit to deliver you. Some people will tell you that they are on their way to see you without any intention of doing so. Before you can pull down evil structures, you must come clean. Have you been telling stories that you know are not true? Today, many Church goers can no longer be trusted.
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his anointed, say, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.”
Psalm 2:1-3, KJV
The rage of the heathen makes people to imagine vain things. Wherever you find the rage of the wicked, vanity captures the imagination of people. All their evil counsels shall come to naught in the name of Jesus. God will have all of them in derision.
“That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever”.
Joshua 4:24, KJV
Pray –
- Heavenly Father, manifest and demonstrate the power of your outstretched hand against the rage of the wicked in this nation. Arise O God, demonstrate the power of our outstretched hand in this nation that all the people may know and fear.
- Demonstrate the power of your outstretched hand against the heathens in this nation that your name alone may be magnified and that they may tremble at the mention of your name in Jesus’ name.
The rage of the heathen makes nonsense of people’s testimonies. The devil wants to rubbish your testimony but he will not succeed. You must sit up. It is no longer Church as usual.
“Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.”
Psalm 33:20-22, KJV
Pray –
- My heart shall rejoice in the Lord because I have trusted in his holy name in the name of Jesus.
- Let your mercy, O God, be upon me and upon my family for we have waited upon you in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I trust in you. My heart is fixed trusting you. Let your mercy be upon me, O Lord, in Jesus’ name.
