OVERCOMING THE ENEMIES OF OUR JOY/CELEBRATION/TESTIMONY I
God has set a table before us but there are adversaries. A lot of doors have been opened before us but there are adversaries. What do you do? Will you allow the enemy to come and mess up your testimony? God forbid! You must pray aggressively. There are powers that want to rubbish your testimonies and make a mess of them.
At times, demons manifest through human beings; in homes, they can use a wife against her husband causing her to use terrible words against him. Wife, listen, there are things you should never say to your husband. A lot of married women are not wise. Prov. 14:1 says, “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands”. May we never yield ourselves as instruments of destruction in the hands of the adversary in the name of Jesus. What you should build, may you not tear down in the name of Jesus.
One of the seven seals of Lucifer is destruction and it is so easy to get into that ministry. It is so easy to align with the destroyer and expect that God will still bless you. There are certain things that God has called us to destroy. There are things that God expects us never to tolerate. There are things God expects us to pull down and completely root out. One of them is a stronghold. You will discover that the more engaged you are in spiritual warfare, the less involved you get in ‘civil wars’. We are not called to fight flesh and blood, we are called to wrestle with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world.
We must repent for the times we have been engaged in ‘civil wars’ while overlooking the real battles that we should fight. God will help us. Any power that wants to rubbish our testimonies will be disgraced in the name of Jesus.
Why is the devil interested in rubbishing the testimonies of the children of God? Why is he afraid of your testimony? God wants us to rejoice evermore but the enemy wants to bring sorrow and sighing, grumbling and mourning. That is the reason why he steals, kills and destroys. But Jesus has come that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Make this confession:
- I choose abundant life and that is my portion in this land of the living. Any power delegated to rubbish my testimony, Father in your fury, cut it off in Jesus’ name.
