MY HEAD SHALL BE LIFTED ABOVE MY ENEMIES II

We are to operate above only. Everything the devil is trying to do is to bring you down and if you recognize that, you must refuse to bow to his antics, refuse to surrender to his pressures.

Who are our adversaries? We need to establish that our adversaries are not flesh and blood; they are principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world. The devil can use human beings to make things difficult for the children of God but in the final analysis, our real adversaries are the spirits behind them. We need to always go beyond the human vessels to the spirits that are in operation in them. As we begin to make decrees, please take note that we are not referring to flesh and blood, we are dealing with the root spirit that is using them.

Those that should have been evangelized are now all over the place, stealing, killing and destroying. Nothing stops them from being saved tomorrow if they see the light. We are therefore not supposed to ‘kill’ them before they give their lives to Christ. God knows how to do it. God himself does not rejoice in the death of a sinner. His programme is that everyone should come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ.

“And now shall mine head be lifted up above my enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing; yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD”.

Psalm 27:6, KJV

Some salient steps that precede the lifting:

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 27:1, KJV

We need to enthrone the Lord. Before you can get to saying, and now shall my head be lifted above my enemies, the Lord must be enthroned as the Light and Salvation. The Greek word for salvation is ‘Soteria’. Everything that is loaded in that word can only be delivered by the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He has to be the Lord in everything, in every aspect of our lives, in every area; every second, every moment, every minute, every day, as we go out and come in, not just in our relationship with him one on one but in our relationship with others as well. In our places of work, the lordship of Jesus must be manifest as we do our businesses, wherever we find ourselves, in our spheres of influence, in our homes. We must not be people who run two lives, no duplicity. We must be people who are in tune, in alignment, in perfect submission to the perfect leading of the Lord.

If the Lord is not your light, you will be in darkness. Why is there darkness all over the place? It is because the people who should carry the light are not really shinning. All we need to drive away darkness from our environment is to let the light of God shine, allow his glory to burst forth. No amount of demonic reinforcement will be able to put off the light of God in our destinies, no matter the consolidation in Jesus’ name.

The agents of darkness know what they are doing; when they go to primordial practices to awaken the altars that are better buried and forgotten, they release demons and these demons operate in the dark. That is why they always want to put off the light. I prophesy into your life that there is not enough darkness in the world that can put off the light of God in your life. There is not enough darkness in the whole world that can put off the light that God has kindled in the gardens of our heart in the name of Jesus. The light of God must shine.

Pray –

• The light of God must shine in every area of my life, in my family, in my business, in my ministry, in this nation and in the world. The glory of God must be revealed. The name of the Lord must be magnified.
• The Lord reigns in my life. I enthrone the lordship of Jesus in every area of my life and I proclaim that the Lord is my light and my salvation in Jesus’ name.
