SUNDAY SERVICE

MY HEAD SHALL BE LIFTED ABOVE MY ENEMIES III

Pray –
  • The Lord reigns in my life. I enthrone the lordship of Jesus in every area of my life and I proclaim that the Lord is my light and my salvation in Jesus’ name.

As you were making this proclamation, did you notice what happened inside of you? Your faith rose. That is exactly what happens immediately you align with the purpose of God; you will feel lifted.

The next statement in Psalm 27:1, “whom shall I fear?” is a direct outcome of that. You can now confront fear because your faith has come up! Fear is the opposite of faith. The moment you align with the word of God as revealed, immediately, faith builds up in your heart; faith that makes you a mountain mover – “give me this mountain!” The things that the enemy arrays to make you afraid, you can now confront confidently. You are now ready to confront your fears with faith. Are you afraid of anything? It is time for you to confront that thing. How do you confront it? Through faith! Mr fear knocked the door, faith answered and there was nobody there! Confront your fears with your faith.

Pray –
  • Fear, you have no part in me. I have comprehensive dominion over you. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? I fear no one for the Lord is with me. The Lord is my Shepherd. The Lord is the strength of my life. The Lord is my light.

Who is the Lord? Jesus! Who is Jesus? He is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2).

“The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” I remember the encounter we had sometime in 1990. I finished praying and reclined to bed between the hours of 12.00 and 3.00am in my home town. I was lying down on the same bed with my elder brother and all of sudden, I started hearing the sound of witchcraft birds in my dream and was fighting against them until I woke. On waking up, I discovered that they were inside our compound physically, a very large compound indeed. I knew the power of the word of God and so reached out for my Bible and walked out of the house while declaring Psalm 35 as I went.

As I was declaring the world of God, all the fears in me completely disappeared. As I walked towards the pear tree where they were converged, two of the evil birds charged at me and I used my Bible to ward them off. I was undaunted; instead of turning back I continued moving towards the tree. May you never turn your back at your enemies in Jesus’ name. Confront that thing and you will discover that it is under your feet. You will walk in dominion over anything the enemy has released to work against the purpose of God in your life. Receive the grace in Jesus’ name.

TO BE CONTINUED.
