3. Death has been conquered CONT’D.

There are only two permanent resting places – heaven and hell. There is no intermediary place. Only those who have the blessed hope, also called the lively hope, will make it to heaven. This lively hope can only be accessed through the finished work of Jesus Christ. He is the only one who conquered death. He is the only one who has the anointing that destroys the leviathan head of death.

How does this anointing flow? It flows through connection, through belief. A child of God cannot be limited. I have an inheritance and I am not ready to trade it for anything. Don’t trade your inheritance for anything. You cannot buy it with money neither can you replicate it with anything. Inheritance is deeper than money, you cannot quantify it. Don’t toy with it and don’t allow anything mess up your inheritance.

The devil knows this and that is why he is ready to offer you anything to trade it in. People are selling their inheritance on daily basis for a pittance. That is why the devil is busy weaponizing poverty today so that it will be easier for him to corrupt people and steal from them. Remember that his agenda is to steal, kill and destroy. He is able to do this through deception. Every yoke in your life will be utterly destroyed by the same power that resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave in Jesus’ name. The awe of finality hitherto ascribed to death has been shattered. Death has been demystified.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you”.

Romans 8:11, KJV

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of resurrection; he is the spirit of full restoration. He is the spirit that quickens. He is the spirit of life, the spirit of abundant life that Jesus came to give. Wherever the river of life flows, there is no death. The curse of death is broken. The cross of Jesus Christ is the greatest symbol of dominion over death. Celebrate Jesus!

With this revelation, you should be able to destroy any sickness in your body. I used to have malaria a lot and when I visited a doctor, he told me that mosquitoes have special love for the type of genotype I have. So, he recommended a malaria drug to be taken every five days instead of the normal seven day interval because of the seriousness of the attack. Taking the drug every five days was a big challenge to me because I could not calculate the days accurately but I tried. Whenever I missed it, the malaria will attack again. This continued. But at a point, God used my Pastor at that time to perform a miracle in my life.

God was using me mightily in the ministry of deliverance where a lot of healings were taking in the local Church where I worshipped. One day, the Pastor came into the deliverance room and asked, “how many people did God heal last month?” I replied that I couldn’t really recount but that a lot of people were delivered. He smiled and looked at me in a special way and asked, “don’t you know that deliverance is spiritual healing?” My eyes opened at that point, it had never crossed my mind before that time that deliverance is actually spiritual healing.

On getting home, I meditated on this revelation and decided that I was never going to have malaria again. It occurred to me that the malaria requires spiritual healing which is more potent than the medicine I was taking. The holy anger against the malaria ignited the fire of the Holy Spirit in me. The faith of the anointing that destroys the spirit of sickness was released. The same anointing that heals headache is the same anointing that heals cancer. The same spirit that resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave flowing in your veins should be able to terminate every sickness in your body. That was it! I testify that for over thirty years I have not taken that malaria medicine to the glory of God. This cannot work for you until you connect. One of the ways to connect is through knowledge. Through knowledge shall the just be delivered (Proverbs 11:9). The people of God perish because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).

PRAY –

• Let the spirit that resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave possess every cell of my body, and destroy the yoke of sickness forever in Jesus’ name, amen.
