NO MORE LIMITS IV
THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE RESURRECTION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF BARRIERS ROLLED AWAY
What did they find in the tomb?
3. Death has been conquered.
Before Jesus Christ went to the grave, the fear of death for many was the beginning of wisdom. The leviathan head of death was a terrorist, a very big one at that. Think about life without the hope of resurrection. That is how so many people live today, they are ready to do anything because they have no life after this life. Don’t be like them, don’t envy them. You have something that they don’t have. They have sold their hearts to the devil while you have sold yours to Jesus so you are not like them. They are the ones that should envy you.
You have what the world cannot give. Don’t throw away what God has given you which was purchased with the precious blood of his Son Jesus Christ in exchange for what the world can give. That is what a lot of people are doing today. They have signed away their destiny and thrown away their salvation for a pittance. They betray their testimony. I declare to you today that death has been swallowed up in victory. We are not serving a dead God, we are serving a living God. Christianity is a living faith, Christianity is life, anyone who rejects it has embraced death. The power of death has been demystified. Jesus Christ has conquered the leviathan head of death. He conquered the leviathan heads of deception and blasphemy. He conquered all the seven heads of leviathan and gave us the victory. Celebrate Jesus!
True children of God don’t die; they transit, they sleep and wake at the other side to a better life. Magnify the name of the Lord. We have a blessed hope in Christ. We have a lively hope. Life without hope is hopeless. Unfortunately, a lot of people have a dead hope. It is only in Christ that you can have a lively hope.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time”.
1 Peter 1:3-5, KJV
One of the greatest blessings of the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ is our being begotten to a lively hope. This inheritance was procured for us through the death of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He died so that I can have an inheritance. He died to make me a son. The only thing a departing soul takes away from this earth is HOPE; this could be either a dead hope or a lively hope. Those who are not connected to Jesus Christ have a dead hope. Such people will die and go to hell!
On the other hand, those who have a lively hope will enter a wonderful inheritance. This inheritance is kept for us by the power of God in heaven so that it cannot be defiled or corrupted. The greatest limit that was shattered was the limit of death. Do you know the importance of having an inheritance in God? Sons go for inheritance while children go for toys. That is why the prosperity message cheapens Christianity but a lot of people are not aware of this.
You are born into an inheritance. God has begotten us again! The first ‘begotten’ was done by your earthly father; the second was done because you gave your life to Christ. The heavenly Father begot you so that you can qualify for an inheritance, so that you can be a son. Everyone will end up in the home of their father.
