WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AN EAGLE II

The best time to abort sin is before it happens, before conception. The best time to stop it is before the snake enters into the garden. May things never go wrong where God has put you in charge in the name of Jesus. The world is upside down today because the Church that God left behind to be custodian of truth has abdicated that onerous responsibility. It is so bad that whenever the world is looking for solution today, it does not look in the direction of the Church. The world would rather turn to the direction of a witch doctor.

That we are in the dispensation of grace does not make sin less evil or destructive. True grace is never a license to sin but a divine empowerment to live above it.

True Christianity is true believing that produces right living. If your belief is not producing right living, then, check it. If your faith is not leading you to holiness, then, check it, it will not lead you to God but rather to idolatry. Idolatry is perverted worship. When you pervert worship, you produce idolatry inadvertently, that is what a lot of Churches are producing and that is why the world is upside down. It might not be deliberate, a lot of people started well but somewhere along the line, something went wrong. That is why if you think you are standing right, be very careful. If you really love any man of God, the greatest thing you can do is to pray for him. This is because he is first of all a man!

God’s prescription for the fall of man was the first messianic prophecy found in Gen. 3:15;

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel”.

Genesis 3:15, KJV

This prophecy was fulfilled on the cross. As man was falling, God was already making a way of escape for him. Celebrate our heavenly Father.

The cross is the greatest display of the mercy of God. The cross is the meeting place between the mercy and the truth side of God. The cross remains the greatest display of the grace and glory of God. It is very important for you to take note of this because as the Church drifted from the cross to start preaching other things, she became weak and drifted into idolatry. The cross is the greatest symbol of dominion; not the lion nor the eagle. You cannot be wiser than God. He uses the simple things, the weak things of this world to confound the wise.

PRAY –

• Everlasting and most merciful Father, I worship and adore you. I thank you for the greatest miracle —the miracle of salvation. I celebrate your wisdom that procured it and your awesome power that established it. I ask you to mercifully deliver your church from any error in Jesus’ name, amen.
