BE A GOD CHASER 1B

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. 

Matthew 6:33, KJV

Be a God chaser. Let this be the desire of your heart. Let it be your motivation. Let it be your drive and the purpose for which you are living. If you do, things will swing in your favour. Everyone in the world today is chasing something.

Four major things that men chase

1. The average man chases women.
We need to come to terms with this. The carnal man will end up chasing women. No matter how strong he may be. Why? There is a pull, there is something that God puts between an adult man and an adult woman. That thing is for procreation. Many times, people believe that this is love because the devil perverts every good thing that God created. The snake is at work and has perverted so many things. Procreation happens between other animals, it is not limited to man and woman. However, today, the extent of perversion in the world amongst human beings is alarming; to the extent that man can now mate with a man, woman with a woman. They have even gone further by going into bestiality. This is perversion; snake in the garden! All it takes to pervert is one little twist. Man that was supposed to be the quintessential of everything that God created has degenerated to the levels that even animals cannot degenerate to.

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient”. 

Romans 1:24-28, KJV

They became captives of their affections because of their reprobate mind. The perversion happened in the garden of their hearts. Whatever controls your mind controls you. Your mind is your thinking self. Almost every perversion out there starts in the mind. What you think in your mind is what you become.

PRAY –

• Heavenly Father, thank you for making me after your image and likeness. I ask you to grant me to live above the perversions and corruptions in the world, that operate through lust in Jesus’ name. Amen.
