BE A GOD CHASER 2B
The day my search for ‘truth’ ended was the day I had my first out of body experience and I was lifted. Jesus took me above the skies and above the second heavens and he handed the Bible over to me. I screamed, ‘so you are the truth I have been searching for’, and I woke up. That was the day the Bible began to make sense to me although I had read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation before then but without revelation, without knowing Christ.
Whenever I see the choices that people make today, I tremble. A lot of people think that Church is business set up to collect money from people. The last time Jesus appeared to me, he told me that his people (not his Church) are not ready. Nobody can cross the second heavens without Jesus. I had read John 14:6 many times before but I didn’t really understand it. It was during my first encounter with Jesus that I understood this scripture. If your life is not full of encounters, you will not understand how desperate man has drifted and how desperate man is in need of a saviour.
One of the things that man lost after the fall in the Garden of Eden was the ability to choose right. Man acquired a diseased perception of reality incapable of making wise decisions even between two options. Statistically, your rate of success even between two options is fifty percent. For instance, as a young lady, you have marriage proposals from two handsome men, what happens? If you don’t get God involved, you are most likely to make the wrong choice.
If the trumpet sounds now, will you fly? Have you booked your flight? During the last encounter with Jesus, he told me that his people are not ready. But he asked me a question, “by the way, have you booked your flight?” I answered, Jesus, you are my ticket for the rapture. What you did on mount Calvary is my ticket. He didn’t allow me to finish the sentence before I saw a ticket leave his hand and it landed in my hand. But as a result of what I went through in that encounter, it dawned on me that I don’t have what it takes to keep the ticket. So, I told Jesus, I don’t have what it takes to keep this ticket, please keep it for me. Immediately the ticket left my hand and went into his hand.
From that time, whenever I talk to Jesus, I remind him that he is my guaranteed ticket for the rapture. It is one of the deepest encounters I have ever had and it lasted for hours.
Most Christian activities today have become earthbound – what to eat, how to buy things, how to get a new business and so on. If I take a look at your prayer requests, I can tell if you are a son or a child. Children go for toys while sons go for inheritance; by their prayer requests, you can tell their stature. Show me what you are chasing and I will tell you where you will end.
PRAY –
- Jesus, I thank you for what you have done for me on the cross. You have gone to prepare a place for me; please prepare me for that place so that where you are there also I will be. I celebrate you, amen.
