BE A GOD CHASER 3A – FACTS ABOUT WHAT YOU CHASE I

Discipleship is not cheap. Christianity is not cheap. Anyone who cheapens it is not presenting the real Christianity. Salvation is free but not cheap, it cost God his very best. People cheapen it because they want crowd; crowd that is going nowhere. If Jesus were to come down today, will he celebrate what people celebrate? Jesus never dignified stupidity, so don’t dignify it.

A lot of Christians behave the way they do because they believe that this race is a game; they are playing with eternity. Eternity is too serious to be left to chance. Some don’t even believe that there is heaven, yet they go to Church. Some people even believe that the Bible is a story book.

We must be people who celebrate who we are and we need not be apologetic about it. The whole thing is about placement of value. What you don’t value will diminish. What you don’t celebrate will take a walk. What you don’t pay attention to will leave you and go elsewhere.

Pray –

• Lord, teach me to walk with you. Lead me. Guide me. I want to walk with you. Make me a God chaser all the days of my life in the name of Jesus.
• Help me not to be deceived. Help me not to be distracted. Grant me grace never to be deluded.
• Do not allow me to pursue vanity and miss you. My eyes are fixed trusting you. I have never walked this path before. Jesus, you are the Way. I depend on you.
• I depend on your Spirit to guide me and to lead me, to counsel me, to help me, to empower me, to shield me, to strengthen me, to enable me, to advocate and intercede for me in the name of Jesus.
• Holy Spirit, fill me to overflowing. Put your seal of perpetual ownership upon me and make it impossible for me to put the wrong foot forward. Thank you precious Holy Spirit. May your name be praised in Jesus’ name.
