BE A GOD CHASER 7E – QUALITIES OF GOD CHASERS 4V

“Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts”. 

Zechariah 14:21, KJV

God hated the Canaanites because of their idolatry. God still hates idolatry and it is so easy to practice. The fastest growing religion in the world today is idolatry. In many places in Africa today, so many people are going back to primitive idolatry, what is the Church doing?

Jesus is not coming for any denomination; he is coming to rapture His bride. Are you in the bride? No eagle will make the rapture. You don’t get to heaven through the wings of an eagle. Where I am going, no eagle can get there. No eagle can cross the atmospheric heaven. The worst thing to be is to be a fake pastor because you will lead souls to hell. I am seeing so much error today and crowd following people who are on their way to hell.

“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work”. 

John 4:34, KJV

That should be what you live for. That is what you should crave. That is what you should pursue. That should be your driving motive – to do the will of God.

“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet”. 

Psalm 91:13, KJV

We are supposed to be trampling lion under but instead some Churches are busy raising lions. That is why the world is being taken over by lions. Some of the characteristics of the lion include stealing, killing and destruction. What we should crush is what many are celebrating and that is why the world is the way it is today.

If you study the Dove and the Lamb, you will find all the fruits of the Holy Spirit in them. Meekness is one of the fruits of the Spirit. The blood of a lion has no sacrificial benefit, no redemptive value. The book of life is not called the book of the lion but the book of the Lamb of God. Meekness is not weakness. Meekness is so much consolidated power but under the control of the Holy Spirit.

Modern day Church goers do not want this because they are full of self, they are full of pride. Pride is a form of idolatry, idolatry of self. Every idolater has perverted worship. What is the difference between doing the right thing in Christendom and doing the wrong thing? It is very simple – the spirit. The spirit refers to the motive. Every person’s work will be tested; some will amount to wood, hay and stubble, the fire will burn them. They will be reduced to nothing.

PRAYER

• Father, please help me to make hay while the sun still shines and to be right at the centre of your purposive will for my destiny. Help me to walk hand in hand with you so that your purpose will be fulfilled in every area of my life.
• Do not allow me to get into error. Please remove far away from me any error I may have internalized. Anything that will put me in captivity, please roll it away in the name of Jesus.
