2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (AN ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST II)
When people are in the dark, they embrace those who really hate them and make enemy out of those whom God has ordained to help them. This is because those ordained by God to help them will always tell them the truth which they don’t want to hear because their heart is not right. Any heart that is not right cannot receive the truth of God’s word. They are always looking for those who will endorse their problems and not those who can solve them.
Without honesty, nobody can deliver you. Honesty and humility are two very important requirements in deliverance and these are lacking today. Miracle seekers don’t make good disciples.
Pray –
- Lord, please help me. I want to be serious in my walk with you. I know that I need you more than I need oxygen. Help me to fall in love over and over again with you. O God, to make hay while the sun shines.
- Grant me the grace to understand that every passing moment takes me closer and closer to eternity. Do not allow me to play games or joke with eternity.
- Do not allow any trace of dishonesty to be in the garden of my heart.
- Guide me by the skillfulness of your hands. May I never miss the way. In any way that I am facing the wrong direction, Father, please help me to align in the name of Jesus.
- I yield my will to your will and I ask, let your perfect will be established in every facet of my life. Let your name be magnified and hallowed in Jesus’ name.
Encounter with the healing Christ
“Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore, whosever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him to a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house: and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”Matthew 7:19-27, KJV
There are two scenarios in this parable. What is your response to instructions? Whenever I see people who walk in disobedience and expect God to bless them, I shiver. This can be attributed to misplacement of value; wrong priorities. Such people seek for a God to use and not a God to worship. Every tragedy in life can be traced to an instruction disobeyed. True faith is correct placement of value in our relationship with the object of our worship.
The blessings of obedience are self acting, immeasurable, and boundless. There are certain prayers you don’t need to pray if you are complete in obedience. There are certain levels of divine interventions that no one can experience who is not complete in obedience. The problem of many is not really disobedience but partial obedience. God views partial obedience as disobedience. If we use the standard of God’s word today, how many people are building on the rock? How many people are building on the solid foundation? How many people are standing on the Rock? How many people are prepared for what is coming?
