2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (LIFTED ABOVE EVIL COVENANTS 2B)

You don’t know holiness until you learn to love what God loves and hate what God hates. You don’t teach a true worshipper to love God because the very definition of worship to a true worshipper is that worship is nothing but being so fanatically in love with God that the idea of substituting that love for anything else does not even remotely exist. God is love. But do we really love him? Today, there are so many substitutes. People substitute the glory of God for glamour. You can’t get glory on the surface. They substitute worship for the slow paced songs. Where are the worshippers? The glory of God is not found on the surface, you have to go beyond the camp to the holy place. You don’t stop there, you go beyond the holy place to the holy of holies to behold the glory. That is where the glory is. But many people park in the outer court.

Meanwhile Jesus went beyond the camp to shed his blood to prove a point, so that he can enter into the glory. The Bible is so rich if you understand it. What you don’t place enough value in, you will throw away, that is what people who go to Church do.

Money is also a measure of value. You cannot reduce Church to money, if you do, you will produce idolaters. Modern day idolatry is loving money more than God; placing money side by side God in your heart. Whatever you place side by side God in your heart has become your god, it is your idol. Jesus made a categorical statement that you cannot serve God and mammon. The two are mutually exclusive. You can’t reduce these things to money. The blood of Jesus is priceless. We were not redeemed with silver and gold. We are redeemed with the precious blood of Jesus (1 Pet. 1:18-19).

You don’t teach a true worshipper covenant keeping. It is part and parcel of him because the fear of God is the greatest safeguard to sin. That you can get away with sin does not mean you should do it. You can only do it where God cannot catch you.

God is interested in the process. Have you killed and taken possession like Ahab? We need to retrain ourselves. There is so much easy believism that is producing idolaters. Today, there are about five dimensions of idolatry in the Church. If there is idolatry in the Church, where will the healing come from? That idolatry is in the world is not the issue (things will get darker and darker in the world), that it is in the Church is the problem. It is a serious problem indeed because the healing of any nation must start from the Church. The Bible says,

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV

God is interested in healing the land but are his people ready to humble themselves and pray and turn away from their wicked ways? So, there is wickedness in the Church! The healing of the Church must start from the home. The healing of the home must start from man. Adam, “where art thou?” God asked. Man has abdicated his office as the priest in the house. He is busy chasing money. Man stopped being a worshipper a long time ago, in the Garden of Eden.

Jesus came to correct that but after the departure of Jesus, Peter still went “a fishing” (John 21:3). Jesus tried to correct him three times, Peter, do you love me? It is so easy to do one’s show and think you are still in God. If you chase gold, you will miss God. The Church is no longer taken seriously because she has become so worldly; the world has penetrated the Church. There is worldly music in the Church today.

If you lower God’s standard while thinking that you can still make it up there, it is a lie. God’s standard is not to be lowered. God is not going to lower his standards for you. It is your responsibility to stretch and then he will give you grace. But it must start from the heart; correct alignment, correct decisions to walk with God. It takes discipline to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Gradually, people are focusing more and more on things that don’t have eternal value and they are wondering why things are not adding up. God has not changed his standards. He is absolutely holy, absolutely righteous, absolutely wise. He is not going to lower his standards because of any man.

Go back to your home and rebuild your family altar. If you want to operate in the highest, you must learn to connect to the most high. If you have to be above only, you must come from above. You cannot be wiser than God. The wisdom of God is the greatest wisdom. The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God not those who have compromised or have bowed to worship money.

If you chase gold, you will miss God. But if you chase God, you will have gold like dust. The devil knows your greatest need and that is what he will use to tempt you. Don’t be like Esau. May you not satisfy any carnal appetite that will rob you of your eternal inheritance in the mighty name of Jesus.
