HAVE YOU BOOKED YOUR TICKET? III

When we were growing in the early seventies, the Christianity of that time prepared us for heaven. The messages were clear: sinner, repent, where will you spend eternity? The songs were clear: “Are you ready? Jesus is coming again”. When was the last time you heard such songs? Today, what kind of messages do we have? I am sure that ninety percent of the messages preached in Churches this Sunday morning were earthbound messages. Meanwhile, we are closer to the rapture more than at any other time in history.

God has a programme and that programme is running. People are looking for a God to use and not a God to serve, definitely not a God to worship. That God cannot be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob can never be your classmate.

The healing of any nation must start from the Church, that was why immediately Jesus told me that his people are not ready, I started asking myself, why are they not ready. I was able to put my finger there. There is so much error coming out from places you least expected. Why did snake enter into the garden? Who allowed the snake into the garden? What business has a snake inside the garden where God gave you charge of? I will never allow snake enter into the garden where God has placed me to take charge of.

It doesn’t take a thousand people to start a revival. I am so excited about the revival that is about to take place. A lot of Churches are busy raising members, they are not raising disciples. They are raising people to be workers, they are not raising worshippers because they know that the moment you become a worshipper you will not be an idolater worshipping human beings. Worshippers don’t chase nonsense and they don’t bow to error.

The world is raising eagles. I saw in my research dangerous errors in the Church. Error is poison, it must be neutralized. The snake entered into the garden and it has released its venom; very dangerous venom. God in his infinite wisdom, God in his mercy has made provisions for venom of the snake, it will be neutralized. Do you know that the blood of the Lamb is anti venom? Definitely not the blood of the lion!

The world wants to make you a lion, the Church wants to make you a lion. The world wants to make you an eagle, the Church wants to make you an eagle. Ask yourself is an eagle a clean creature?

“And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray.” 

Leviticus 11:13, KJV

“No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”

Isaiah 35:9-10, KJV

Who are the ransomed of the Lord? They are those who are cleansed and washed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is the very life of Christ, the everlasting speaking blood of Jesus Christ. It neutralizes the snake in the garden.

Every tragedy in life can be traced to the advent of the snake in the garden. You cannot be wiser than God.

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” 

1 Corinthians 1:27, KJV

You don’t need to be a lion if you are a child of God; you are more than a conqueror. You don’t need to be a lion to conquer. This is error taken too far.

“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.” 

Psalm 91:13, KJV

What the Bible asks us to tread upon is what people desire to be and value. What the Church is supposed to trample under feet is what they are celebrating. What you celebrate is what you magnetize. What you magnify is what you magnetize. The lion in the Church cannot be as vicious as the lion in the world.
