DO A SPIRITUAL AUDIT III

"Have mercy on me, 
I have sinned against you, 
in words, in thought and in wrong actions,

If you sing this song from the depth of your heart, the mercy of God will cover every mess in your life.

Only the foolish toy with sin! The Bible says,

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” 

Proverbs 28:13, KJV

Some people want to prosper, yet, they cover their sins. It is so dangerous to adopt a wrong model if you want to have the right result. The world will hail you when you are a lion but you will not be in the bride of Christ. You will only succeed to fail.

A ‘lion’ does not have the fear of God. The Bible says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Prov. 9:10). A ‘lion’ sins with impunity and thinks that no one will notice. The only place where a child of God is free to commit sin is where God cannot see him or her. Sin has very serious consequences. If it took God sending his son to die because of the question of sin, then you can imagine how grievous and dangerous it is. Sin distorts, deforms, demotes, and disrobes. This is no longer being emphasized.

Back then in the early seventies when we gave our lives to Christ, everyone will be rolling on the floor crying during service. By the time you get back home, you will have assurance that heaven is happy with you because you are clean. What do you have today? People go to Church to be entertained. The system is desecrated in the process. That is why the world is the way it is. The philosophy is the same; the end justifies the means. Do it as long as you are not going to be caught! The world may hail you but heaven weeps because of you.

Pray –

• Lord, in my life, in any way that I have ever made heaven sad, I am sorry. I repent and plead for mercy. Forgive me. In any way, Daddy, that I have ever made you sad by my wrong actions, my inclinations and inactions, I am deeply sorry. Please, in your mercy, forgive me. Have mercy upon me.
• Let your mercy cover every mess in my life. O God, anywhere I have ever missed it or distorted your image, anywhere I have ever misrepresented you, anywhere I thought I was clever and got away with “it” as if you didn’t see me, I was only deceiving myself, now I know, please forgive me.
• Cleanse my hand. Cleanse my heart. Cleanse my tongue. Cleanse my eyes. Cleanse my ears. Cleanse my mind. Cleanse my soul. Cleanse my spirit. Cleanse my body. Cleanse my walk. Cleanse my loins. Cleanse me, purge me, purify me, sanctify me.
• Let every evil seal, anything that makes you sad, Father, wash it away and cleanse my heart. Make me all you want me to be. Whenever you look upon me, may your face always beam with smile; smile of endorsement. Let heaven rejoice because of me in the name of Jesus.
• Claim me and make me your delight forever. Grant me grace and integrity of the heart. I repent today of all my waywardness in the name of Jesus.
• Thank you Lord. Everlasting and most merciful Father, ancient of days, be my strong habitation. Do what only you can do. Empower me by your grace to flee every appearance of evil, to break away from the things that distort your image in my life.
• Make me a worthy ambassador of Christ in spirit and in truth. Make me a person who fears and trembles at your word. Help me to delight you and to delight myself in you. Thank you ancient of days in Jesus name.
