EMPOWERED TO LIVE ABUNDANTLY V

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” 

John 10:10, KJV

This scripture was fulfilled on the cross. The personality called death was defeated, conquered on the cross. The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest symbol of dominion over death – death the person, death the event, death the place, death the realm, death the spirit and the agent of death himself, the devil. He has come to steal, to kill and to destroy but Jesus has come that we might have life and have it more abundantly. We need to know this and connect properly and know the spirit that is the spirit of resurrection.

“There is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” 

Romans 8:1-2, KJV

No condemnation! As long as you are in Christ, there is now no more condemnation for you but there is a proviso – it is for those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.

The devil can allow people go to Church but he will make them do things in the flesh and reduce all their Church activities to nothing. The devil does not fear you because you go to Church or because you climb the ecclesiastical ladder, no, he enjoys it especially the kind of Christianity people practice today. Who called you? Your pastor! Who called your pastor? His pastor! Who will reward you? It is the person who called you that will reward you.

I do sympathize with some people because what they refer to as promotion is actually a demotion.  You are either following the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus or you are under the law of the spirit of sin and death. Anything that is done in the flesh cannot please God. It is nothing but hay, wood and stubble. The person the devil fears is a consecrated priest connected to Christ. There is a very close relationship between your consecration and your concentration.

In social science, power is influence. In physical science, power is the rate of doing work. But in the realm of the spirit, power is nothing but focus. That is why the devil fights your focus; that is the reason why he brings distractions. That is why he gets people deluded. May you not be deluded in the mighty name of Jesus.  You must define where you are going if heaven is your focus. Nobody stumbles into heaven by chance you deliberately walk into heaven.

There is a spirit, the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. I want you to celebrate that spirit from today because the Spirit of life will terminate death. Where the law of the Spirit of life is in operation one hundred percent, there shall be no more death.

The blood of Jesus is the blood of extreme sacrifice. The life of the flesh is in the blood. It is the blood that maketh atonement for our soul (Lev. 17:11). What is in the life of the blood of Jesus? If you don’t know the blood, you have no life. Why is the blood of Jesus Christ so powerful? Everything that is in Christ Jesus is contained in that blood. The very miracles that Jesus performed are in that blood. Everything he lived for is in that blood. The wisdom of God is in that blood. The power of God is in that blood. The consecration is in that blood. The cleansing is in that blood. The redemption is in that blood. The justification is in that blood. The glorification is in that blood. The Passover is in that blood. The speaking of better things is in that blood.
