EMPOWERED TO LIVE ABUNDANTLY VI

The blood of Jesus is the secret of abundant life. Today, people substitute it for another thing. Ask yourself the question, does the blood of lion have any redemptive value? Rev. 12:11, “And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb (not the blood of the lion), and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”. Do you know that the book of Life is the book of the Lamb? Do you know that the bride of Christ is the bride of the Lamb? Do you know that in the final analysis, every lion will worship the Lamb? So where is this error coming from?

If you want to be empowered for abundant life (not superficial life but Zoë), it is by the blood.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Romans 8:11, KJV

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of resurrection and he indwells us.

In this time and age, I sympathize with superficial Christians. Please take your walk with God very seriously and desist from partial contact. Partial contact is dangerous; it can electrocute. Anywhere there is partial contact, there cannot be full deposit. It is all part of the nature of the fallen man – giving God reject and expecting him to give you everything. Cain company!

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

John 7:37-39, KJV

Every child of God is carrying the Spirit that resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave. The power that resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave does not spare sickness. But you need to have the revelation because even the blood of Jesus does not avail unless it is applied. If you don’t apply it, it cannot work for you. You cannot apply what you have no revelation about. When you make this declaration – ‘river of life, flow through me’ – you will see sickness dissolve, it will run away.

If you know the blessings of purity, you will never allow yourself to be defied. The only person the devil fears or tremble at his presence is a consecrated vessel. It is only as a consecrated priest that you can reign as an all-conquering king. It is not possible with the metaphor of lion or eagle, absolutely impossible because there is no consecration in them, they have no sacrificial value. By nature, they are unclean and nothing that defiles can enter into the place we are going. That is why Isa. 35:9 unmistakably says, no lion shall be there nor any ravenous beast shall go there, it shall not be found there. Only the redeemed of the Lord shall walk there. We are the redeemed. You are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Intellectualization of the Church is one of the things that has left her powerless.
