AFTER EASTER – A SEASON VI

The season after Easter is:

4. A season of strategic blunders for all our adversaries.
How do you run? You run through prayer; through intercession. Don’t pretend. When he is trying to bind you, cry out. The Bible says, they cry not when he bindeth them! (Job 36:13). When God takes over the battle he knows how to make Herod to commit spiritual blunder. There can only be one God and he is my Father. For anyone who is trying to play that role; anyone trying to play God is already committing a strategic blunder. That was what happened to Herod. In his pomp and pageantry, he gathered the people together and gave an oration. The people shouted, the voice of God and not the voice of man. He shared the glory with God. The Bible said, instantly, worms ate him up (Acts 12:23).

Have reverential fear of God. It is not the fear of death that is the beginning of wisdom, it is the fear of the living God. There are things that only God can fix. Get him involved in your life. Consolidate the God factor. Consolidate your God connection. There are certain battles that you cannot fight on your own. The God we serve is the all-knowing God. He was there when the plot was hatched against you and he loves you so much. I don’t know of any good father who is not fanatically in love with his children. But the question is, are we fanatically in love with our Father? That is where the problem lies. Being a true worshipper is not about going to Church daily, it is being so fanatically in love with God that the idea of substituting that love for anything else does not even remotely exist. May God take us there in the name of Jesus.

One of the greatest problems in the Church today is the rise of perversion. Worship has been perverted. Today, so many Churches have workers’ fellowship, workers’ in training and so on. I am yet to see any programme for raising worshippers. True worship is not what you do; true worship is who you are. It is what you live.

5. A season of judgment of every wicked potentate.
It does not take God one month to restructure a nation and establish her in holiness, righteousness and wisdom of God. He is waiting for the Church to repent. The Church must pray.

“If my people, who are called shall humble, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV

So, there can be wickedness amongst God’s people. The healing of the nation must start from the Church. The healing of the Church must start from the home. The healing of the home must start from the man; the man must be a true worshipper, not an idolater or an Adam or a Cain. He must be a type of Christ, an Abel.

Pray –

• Lord, make me a true worshipper. From today, I want to worship you in spirit and in truth.
• Help me not to abdicate my spiritual responsibilities. Grant me grace, O God, to stand where you have placed me and to be an enforcer of righteousness and be a light in darkness in the name of Jesus.
• Make me a healing agent in a sick world in Jesus name.
• Your adversaries will commit strategic blunders in the name of Jesus. God himself will judge them in Jesus name.
