AFTER EASTER – A SEASON V
The season after Easter is:
3. A season of divine intervention.
You don’t negotiate with evil. You cannot placate evil. In the world today, people are so economical with truth. Don’t look for approval from the world system. That is the mistake the Church is making. You can never be light by being one with darkness. That is why the wisdom of God tells us to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thes. 5:22). Don’t eat of their dainties. Daniel purposed in his heart that he was not going to be defiled by the things that come from the king’s table (Dan 1:8). It is not everything that is lawful that is profitable,
“All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.”1 Corinthians 10:23, KJV
The Church must understand this and put it to practice not just to preach about it and act otherwise.
4. A season of strategic blunders for all our adversaries.
If you are a true child of God, all your adversaries are the enemies of God and that is dangerous. The greatest enemy you can have is not the devil, the worst enemy you can have is God because there is no solution. If God becomes your enemy then you are a goner. However, if the devil is your enemy and you have God as your friend, then you can rest assured you will be unreachable, untouchable and indestructible by the powers of darkness. That is God’s desire for his children. And when everything is falling you will still be standing.
Peter was busy snoring in the prison where Herod put him with the intention to kill him after Easter. The prayer that brought Peter out of prison was not his own prayer; it was the intercession of the Church. If you are connected to a praying ministry, you are blessed indeed. This ministry is a praying ministry, so you are blessed to be connected to us. The greatest investment ever is prayer. When God wants to bless a family, he raises an intercessor amongst them. I pray that you will catch this revelation. The devil trembles the moment he sees that you are serious with your God connection. One of the greatest ways to activate the connection is through intercession. Consolidate your intercession. It is a privilege to be down here and to have a Father who is the omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. If you read down the above scripture (Acts 12), you will discover that Herod committed a strategic blunder. When God steps in he does not do so in measures, he is the alpha and the omega. He knows how to deal with anyone that has arisen against his purpose for his people. Africa is the way it is today because of idolatry; the curse of idolatry is generational. Just as there are generational curses, there are also generational blessings; that is why we can sing; ‘Abraham’s blessings are mine’. Abraham magnified the God factor; he didn’t have books to study but he had that connection and he did not waiver so he became the father of faith. That God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is our Father. He is the God of Israel and he knows no defeat that is why all the strongmen that have arisen against the purpose of God for your life will begin to commit strategic blunders in the mighty name of Jesus. When they pursue you and you run into the hands of God, he takes over the battle.
