2024/2025 OPERATION 18-18 – (CAUSE ME TO ESCAPE III)

There are definite adjustments you need to make if you want to be relevant. To make it easy, ensure that you don’t joke with Psalms 70 and 71 throughout this programme.

Psalm 70

“Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD”.

This is a complete prayer on its own. If you pray it from your heart and mean it in every sense of it, you will have a divine encounter. There is a very hard word for the force that don’t want you to be what God wants you to be in verse 2.

“Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward, and put to confusion that desire my hurt”. There are wicked forces out there who desire to hurt you. If they had their way, you would never have been conceived in the first place. That is the truth. You don’t solve a problem by pretending as if it does not exist, you solve a problem by confronting it. God solved the problem caused by the fall of man by confronting it. It cost him his best.

Pay particular attention to verse 5, “But I am poor and needy; make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer, O LORD, make no tarrying”. In other words, Lord, do not delay; suspend every other thing and come to my aid! So many people who are desperately in need of God whose life depends on him like oxygen come to God puffed up. They come not only with entitlement mentality but they come ‘dignified’ into his presence. That is part of the nature of the fallen man.

Many years back while praying in the deliverance room, there was a woman who had goiter of fifteen years there and as we were praying, to our surprise, the goiter started disappearing and that was how the woman was completely healed. Thereafter, a sister who witnessed the miracle invited another sister who also had goiter to our deliverance meeting so that she can also receive healing.

When I interviewed the sister before prayer, I discovered that she had a very terrible attitude and was not really interested in my conversation with her, all she wanted was a miracle. On sensing this, I told her that I was not going to pray with her that day but gave her an appointment to come back after a week. To my surprise, she got up from her seat, looked at me disdainfully and walked out of my office with her big goiter. She never came back again. That is the attitude of most miracle seekers.

Pray –

• Father, do not allow me to be an enemy of my miracle in the name of Jesus. Do not allow me to be the reason why that particular problem in my life continues to linger in the mighty name of Jesus.
