2024/2025 OPERATION 18-18 – (MANIFESTATION OF THE SON OF GOD 3A)
WHEN THE LORD MANIFESTS
The manifestation of God comes with consequences. One of the reasons why God manifests is when he sees a broken and a contrite heart; a repentant heart. A heart that is penitent.
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”Psalm 51:17, KJV
Two thieves were crucified alongside Jesus, one on the right the other on his left side. One of the thieves started railing at Jesus and mocking him even at the point of death while the other one looked unto Jesus and asked for mercy. He was repentant and spoke the right thing at that very point in time.
Every repentant sinner is qualified for the mercies of God. One of the things I love about prayer is that at the beginning you must recognize that you are approaching a holy God, a thrice holy God and then you come with humility because God cannot manifest to the proud. He gives grace to the humble but resists the proud (James 4:6).
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”1 John 1:7-10, KJV
The Bible is a book of ‘ifs’. Wherever you find an ‘if’, it means there is a decision to be taken. Therefore, for every ‘if’ there is an ‘if not’.
The Bible says if we confess our sins to God, he is faithful to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Look inwards. Is there any way you have accumulated dust? Satan is a dust eater. The easiest way to attract him is to accumulate what he feasts on. What constitutes spiritual dust? Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life!
Pray –
- Lord, I come before you, have mercy on me according to your love and your kindness, according unto the multitude of your tender mercy, please blot out all my sins, all my transgressions.
- Look into my life, remove anything in me that defiles and damns. Please wash me, cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, your Son. Make me holy and acceptable in your sight in the name of Jesus.
- Anything that can hinder me from your manifestation, Father, I repent. Please wipe it away in the name of Jesus Christ.
