TO WHOM DOES HE MANIFEST?

To Whom Does the Lord Manifest?

1. Those that fear his name.
He manifests with healing in his wings. He empowers them to tread down, to go forth and grow up.

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.” 

Malachi 4:2, KJV

That is the right direction. The power of God uplifts. That is why you should not desire any man’s endorsement. That is where our help comes from. There is a curse on those who trust in the arm of the flesh. Never put your trust in man. I learnt that a long time ago when I lost my earthly father at the age of nine.

2. To the broken hearted and the humble.
God resists the proud.

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.” 

James 4:6, KJV

Pride is idolatry of self. Pride is a very cheap sin and that is why you need to be careful. If you are not careful, you will get proudful, no matter how you struggle with it. If you key in and walk with God he will show you things ahead of time.

3. He manifests to the willing and obedient.
Isa. 1:19, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land”. God manifests to those who have yielded will. There are too many stubborn people today in the Church holding on to error like a god. As a matter of fact, they worship error. They were never worshippers but idolaters. Wherever you find perversion, everything around is perverted. Are you willing? Are you obedient? You will see the manifestation of God, you will eat the good of the land.

Pray –

• Father, help me to be willing and to be obedient so that I may see the fullness of your manifestation in the mighty name of Jesus. Make me willing, make me holy and help me to see the manifestation of your fullness in every area of my life in the name of Jesus. Grant me the grace in Jesus name.

Too many people today are stubborn. Unfortunately, you cannot help the stubborn. God treats stubbornness as witchcraft, it was one of the things that dethroned Saul and led to his downfall. It is part of the wickedness of perversion of the heart. God cannot help the stupid either. Pride plus ignorance leads to stupidity. Some people are ready to fast for one hundred days instead of obeying the word of God and forgive others. You don’t need to fast in order to be obedient to God. God does not need your fasting in order to answer your prayers. No amount of fasting by someone who is walking in disobedience can amount to anything.
