2024/2025 OPERATION 18-18 – (STRATEGIC DIVINE CONNECTION III)

This is a story of strategic divine connection with specific instructions. Cornelius obeyed God immediately. It is not enough for God to tell you what to do, it is important for you to carry out the instruction and do it promptly. It is not just enough to be complete in obedience, you have to be prompt in obedience. There is management theory which says, “hit the iron when it is hot”, which means to take advantage of an opportunity as soon as it comes. May we not miss it this year in the name of Jesus. There must be no procrastination. When God gives the instruction, just act. Receive the grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

“And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.” 

Acts 10:15, KJV

Some people interpret this verse to mean that one can eat anything. No, that is a wrong interpretation of the Bible. God is speaking metaphorically here. It is not a license to eat anyhow. God was referring to the way the Jews treated other people whom they called Gentiles, God was referring to the interaction between the Jews and the Gentiles. God, because of the death and burial of our Lord Jesus Christ, has broken that barrier.

The blood of Jesus has removed every barrier separating the Jews and the Gentiles and has also broken the curse of the law so that we can enter through the finished work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ gives us access to the throne of grace. We are now in the dispensation of grace and we are spiritual Israelis. That is why we can sing ‘Abraham’s blessings are mine’.

Remember that as at the time this was happening, that revelation about what the blood of Jesus has done in breaking barriers was not yet there, so it was a big deal that almost caused a big havoc even within the Church. Peter had to give a very long explanation in Acts chapter 11. He gave a long explanation to show the extent to which he went.

Study the entire chapter and you will notice that God is the perfect connector. He spoke to Cornelius, opened his eyes and gave him specific instructions on what to do. At the same time, he prepared Peter and the connection was made. While Peter was yet speaking to Cornelius and his household, the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit came upon them because God has gone ahead to prepare the ground. So shall it be concerning us this year in the mighty name of Jesus.

However, you must take note of the preconditions including the spiritual curriculum vitae of Cornelius and you will notice that when the vessel is ready, divine connection is made. It is a matter of time, the heavens will open. I have personally experienced this. That was how I was connected to the job that took me out of the country for further training many years back. It is real.

If you can contact heaven, God will make things happen in your life. God can give you the strategic connection that you need to be all that God wants you to be and fulfil his purpose.
