GOLDEN KEYS FOR OVERCOMING YOUR ADVERSARIES VI

The Bible makes us to understand that it is through knowledge that the just shall be delivered. Your prayer must progress from sanctification to consecration to dedication to renunciation, to requests, to supplication, to warfare and to restoration. You must give angels something to act upon. One of the ways to do it properly is to pray in line with the word of God. Pray the word, when you do, the angels will act because angels act on the word.

“And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you. And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.”

Leviticus 9:6-7, KJV

Sin offering represents consecration. Burnt offering is intercession. Atonement has to do with the blood. Aaron was asked to make intercession not only for himself but for the people. Your intercession should progress from self to family to nations. This is the missing link. A lot of people jump and start attacking the adversary without proper consecration. This is dangerous. It is possible for one to be full of zeal without knowledge. The story is told of a man who went to challenge a native doctor who boasted to deal with him after a heated argument. The young man got paralyzed thereafter and eventually died leaving his young family behind.

There is a close relationship between concentration and consecration. People want to see the wonders of God but they don’t want the sanctification. Any wonder done without sanctification is a lying wonder. Any prophet that is not an intercessor is prophesying lies. I was opportuned to have passed through Church planting training some years back in the local Church where I worshipped. Two of us were sent to the then district headquarters of the Church to attend a special training on how to plant Churches. The instructor, who later became the general overseer of that church, made us to write down boldly, ‘Over eighty percent of what is involved in Church planting is prayer. If you fail to pray, you will die’.

If you are not ready to tarry in the presence of God, you have a long way to go. Glory is not found on the surface. Glory is not found in the outer court, you must go through the holy place to the holy of holies. That is where the glory is. You must change your mindset from being visitation minded to habitation mindedness. It is dangerous to operate with little fire. Fire is in levels. If your heavenly Father is a consuming fire according to Heb. 12:29, you cannot afford to be cold in a wicked and perverse environment. Fire is not something you make and break and still stay hot, if you do, you will get cold. The devil and his agents know the level of fire you carry just by looking into your eyes. Fire is in levels and burns with different intensity. Warfare is not funfair and it is not fought with rubber bullets.
