GOLDEN KEYS FOR OVERCOMING YOUR ADVERSARIES V
There is a power that wants to yank you outside the purpose of God. True success is locating yourself at the center of God’s will for your life. God is purposive. Everything he created is for a purpose; eyes to see, nose to smell, hand to touch, everything is for a purpose. It is the adversary that brings a distortion. He is a pervert; he lives to pervert the will of God. The snake in the garden twists the word, subverts the word and perverts the purpose of God. When he perverts worship, he produces idolatry which is one of the seven seals of Lucifer and one of the gates of hell. It is one of the ways by which he attacks man because he knows the power of worship. He knows that the moment you become a true worshipper, you become a God chaser, you attract the attention of heaven.
Heaven will back you up to succeed. God chasers don’t bow to nonsense, they terrorize the adversary. Where the adversary is set at bay, the fire of the presence of God burns 247 to keep the snake away. That is the true New Testament Christianity and that is where we will operate from in the name of Jesus. God chasers are terrors to the kingdom of darkness. The adversary cannot gainsay, cannot withstand, cannot manipulate, cannot deceive, destroy, kill, touch or pervert or demote the one whom God has promoted.
3. Sanctification and consecration.
“And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”Joshua 3:5, KJV
If you want to see the wonders of God tomorrow, ensure that you sanctify yourself today. Sanctification means to be set apart unto God. God does not use vessels that are not sanctified. You cannot carry the seal of Lucifer and be fighting him. This is one of the reasons why some people get attacked after engaging in spiritual warfare. During one of my trips to the United States, I was in Portland, Oregon when a Sister in New Jersey called me and narrated how she prayed some of the prayers in one of my books and the kind of attacks she received when she reclined to bed. She called her pastor who advised her to stop praying those prayers. I told her that she made a mistake.
The reason why you receive attacks when you pray some kind of prayers is because of improper consecration. Some people get afflicted, some get poisoned spiritually while some even die as a result of improper consecration. A lot of people spend so much time in warfare while they devote very little time to consecration. That is not the pattern. If you have one hour to pray, you can spend at least thirty minutes to praise God in order to get into his presence, and then spend at least twenty minutes for consecration. It takes time to do a thorough consecration. Don’t just pray casually. Study Psalm 51 thoroughly and you will see someone who prayed from the heart. Warfare is against the adversary.
