RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY 2G

Many Churches are not raising worshippers. The moment you stop raising worshippers, you start producing idolaters. Idolaters don’t know how to say No. they are yes, yes people; everything is about what to eat, what they see, what to make. How did man get to the level where he is today? It is because man said yes to nonsense; saying yes to the word of the snake and saying no to the word of God.

Anytime you make a wrong decision, it is because of the adamic nature in you. Where was the adamic nature dealt a deadly blow? On the cross! Apostle Paul in Gal. 2:20 said,

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” 

Galatians 2:20, KJV

The adamic nature is crucified only on the cross. As long as Christ continues to live, this Christ is the truth, this Christ is the way, this Christ is the life. I can tell one who is about to fail just by observing what that person eats. What are you feasting on? The adamic man feeds on lust – lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life.

If truly we are preparing people for heaven, why are we busy accumulating here what we will never need there? Covetousness is idolatry (Col. 3:5). The only thing you are permitted to covet is spiritual gifts. The message has to change; the foundation is not right. The Church is raising money instead of raising worshippers. The Church is raising members instead of raising disciples. What is Jesus’ prescription for discipleship? “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). You miss the cross, you miss it completely.

How many hours do you spend on the social media and your phone daily? What are you worshipping? Which sites do you visit? God is not mocked. What you crave is what you really love. What you chase is what you love. You cannot be a God chaser and end up in hell. It is not possible.

Ask God for grace to say no! That is the prescription. Don’t entertain the devil, you don’t have what it takes to withstand him if you let him in. The Bible says flee every appearance of evil (1 Thess. 5:22). The only way to overcome lust is to RUN. How did Joseph overcome the attempts of Potiphar’s wife to seduce him? He ran! May you not eat what will ensnare you in the name of Jesus.

Pray –

• Lord, make it impossible for me to eat what will ensnare me in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Help me to break away from every appearance of evil. Help me to cut off the hand of the adversary in the name of Jesus.
