RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY 2H

Pray that you will be addicted to the presence of God. You cannot be a God chaser and not be addicted to his presence. The Psalmist said, I was glad when they say unto me let us go into the house of the Lord (Psa. 122:1). This was a very busy man yet ten times a day he went into the house of God. Today, we are still praying the Psalms he wrote. This is the real meaning of success. Nobody will remember you for the number of private jets you had. What a lot of people are chasing today will phase out with them. The only thing that will endure is that which has eternal value.

Pray –

• Father, we thank you. Help us to major on what has eternal value. Grant us grace to walk with you.
• Give us the right identity and may we never lose it. May we find our identity in you. May we find purpose in you and may we fulfil this purpose like the pattern Son and succeed here and here after. May we have good success in the name of Jesus.
• Restore us to the original blue print that you have for us. Make our lives fruitful. Help us, O God, to be excited about walking with you.
• Help us to celebrate you, to fall in love over and over again with you. Help us to be so fanatically in love with you that the idea of substituting that love for anything else does not even remotely exist in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen!

We are all work in progress. The most important thing is to acknowledge our weaknesses. The crime is never in falling but in failing to rise. Acknowledge! Truth is important in our walk with God. Wherever you notice that you are struggling, hand it over to God. Don’t try to be a macho man. Don’t try to cover it with leaves like Adam. Whenever I visit the events in the Garden of Eden, I learn a lot of lessons. A man who fails to say no will have to cover himself with leaves.

God is not interested in leaves. He is interested in fruits. By their fruits, you shall know them (Matt. 7:16). There are lots of leafy activities in the Church today. You must know how to say no to nonsense so that God can give you what makes sense.

Pray –

• Father, help me never to bow to nonsense in the mighty name of Jesus.
