LIVING IN THE POWER OF THE RISEN LORD VII

Today, the devil is disseminating very terrible messages that have gone viral. One of such message is that education is a scam. If education is a scam, please try ignorance. We need to know who we are in Christ, we need to know what we have in Christ and what Christ has done for us. Whoever does not have this knowledge will be confused, deceived and catechized the wrong way. Deception is the name of the game. All it takes to commit a strategic blunder is to take a step in the wrong direction.

May you not have encounter with a satanic evangelist but even if you do, the satanic evangelist must bow. The only way the satanic evangelist will bow is if you have superior wisdom; wisdom from above. That is why you need to know. It is your right to know. It is your responsibility to know; don’t outsource it to your pastor especially now that some pastors don’t really have time to study the Bible.

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” 

1 Peter 1:18-19, KJV

We must not crucify Jesus a second time. Where did the message of give me your gold come from? It is a very erroneous theology that cannot produce any spiritual person. That is why people who go to such places cannot live by the power of the risen Lord. Jesus was never a deceiver.

Three things that marked the ministry of Jesus:

1. Jesus lived in divine dependence.
He was dependent on the Father. He never had an agenda of his own. He didn’t come to build an empire on earth. He came for one thing. He was very purposeful. He said what I see my Father do is what I do. He said I and my Father are one. A lot of Christians do not know who they are in Christ and what they have in Christ and what Christ has done for them. Who is your role model? If you say that you are a Christian your life should reflect Christ. He lived in the realm of divine communion and communication with the Father; seamless communication. The only time that was broken was on the cross when he was carrying our sins and that was when he cried in Matt 27:46, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? God turned away his face because he cannot behold iniquity. Your sin does not diminish God, it diminishes you. You have a responsibility to live right, you cannot outsource it.

2. Jesus lived to do the will of his Father.
John 4:34, “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work”. He lived a very purposeful life, clearly defined. He never beat about the bush.
