BEWARE OF THE ORNAMENTS OF DEFILEMENT II

Don’t take your service to God lightly. That is your worship. Worship is ‘worthship’ – placement of value. What is your heart panting after?

The son that the Father loves he chastises. That is one of the ways to identify sons. Those who are not prepared to take the chastisement of the Father are not qualified to be sons. This is very common today. A lot of people who go to Church today want to be entertained; they have reduced the Church to a place of entertainment and not a place of transformation, not a place where you are corrected so that you don’t miss it. They have reduced the Church to a place where people see you going in the wrong direction and be hailing you.

If you go to a place where the bride’s message is preached, you will see sobriety. As a true man of God whenever you preach and the people hail you as a wonderful preacher, you must be careful. Jesus preached so hard that the crowd walked out on him. He then asked Peter, will you also go away? “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life” signifying a resolute decision to follow Jesus in spite of the hard teachings. That is how to identify sons.

Beware of: –

1. The superficiality of carnality
2. The error in the splendour of prosperity
3. The brevity of opportunity
4. The ornaments of defilement

If you mean business with God and you want to ascend, this message is for you, it is only those who will ascend that will receive.

It takes humility to learn. Those who love God go the extra mile to do the will of God, they go the extra mile to chase God, they go the extra mile of obey him. They don’t count the cost. They get out of their comfort zone in order to seek God. Anyone who loves God will be a God chaser. Tell me what you are chasing and I will tell you who you love. If the presence of God does not excite you, something has gone terribly wrong.

Beware of the ornaments of defilement. One of the dictionary meanings of ornament is that an ornament is a thing used or serving to make something more attractive but usually having no practical purpose. Usually, women have a lot of ornaments.
