HOLY GHOST EMPOWERMENT VIII

In Acts 4:31, the Bible says that the apostles were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the world of God with boldness. They had Holy Ghost encounter.

Pray –

• For everyone who is taking part in this programme, Father, we ask for Holy Ghost encounter, special empowerment by the precious Holy Spirit. We ask for the fullness of your power, the fullness of your wisdom, Holy Ghost encounter for everyone in the name of Jesus. Thank you mighty God.
• Lord, show your glory, show forth the power of your outstretched hand and give us very sure testimonies in Jesus name.

“And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.” 

Acts 4:33, KJV

Two things happened here: great power, great grace. Ask God for great power and great grace. We need great power to publish the works of God. It takes great power to silence every opposition and every voice of mockery, to silence the wicked voice of devaluation. It takes great power to silence them.

Your identity in Christ is the most important thing that God has given you. If you lose it, you are gone in spiritual warfare because that is what the devil attacks. That was why during the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, the devil said, “If you are the son of God” (Matt. 4:6). Why did he do this? Identity! One of the things that man lost in the Garden of Eden is true identity; man acquired a diseased perception of reality.

Part of the temptation you will face as a child of God is attack on your identity. The moment this happens, you must get angry in spirit and that is why you must have divine encounter; that is why you must know who God is. You need to cultivate friendship with the Holy Spirit, get filled with the Holy Spirit, let it be part and parcel of your daily prayer.

Seek the power of God, we need it in a wicked environment. Keep on praying and unleashing the thunder of God’s power against the powers unleashed against the purpose of God for your destiny. This will keep them from unleashing their evil agenda. It will be a case of power encounter. Our Father is the rock of ages so any negative power that rises against you will have a head on collision with the rock of ages and God will be magnified.

Endeavour to read the Bible through from Genesis to Revelation. You must be Word based. How can you say what is written when you don’t know what is written. When the devil comes to attack your identity what will you use to say no?

Pray –

• Ask God for great power, ask him for great grace, ask for yourself and for every member of this Fellowship and particularly for every one that is partaking of this program.
