ELEVATE YOUR PURSUIT I

PRAYER

• Father, we thank you for your commanded blessings upon us. Thank you for keeping our world in perfect peace and making it possible for us to be in your presence.
• It is written, we shall be satisfied with the goodness of his house and by awesome deeds in righteousness, God will answer us for he is the God of our salvation, the confidence of all the ends of the earth.
• Thank you, Lord, for all you have done for us since the beginning of this programme. It has been wonderful in your presence. Blessed be your name in the name of Jesus.
• We depend on you to finish well and finish strong in the name of Jesus. Continue to guide us, continue to lead us, continue to lift us, continue to bless us, continue to shield us, continue to empower us that we may operate in the highest in the name of Jesus.
• Thank you mighty God. We belong to you forever. Help us to live the rest of our lives pleasing you. When you look down upon us, may your face always beam with smile; smile of satisfaction in the name of Jesus.

There is so much distraction everywhere and all over the world today. In the midst of so many options, we need to trust God to help us to always choose the best. It is very easy to pursue shadows and miss the substance. If you don’t know how to say no, draw your boundaries and get your priorities right, you are likely going to be distracted.

Whenever you come into the presence of God, it means you have placed your priorities right. You need to learn how to say no so that you can get your priorities right.  May you always put God first in the name of Jesus. I want you to resolve that nobody, no situation, no circumstance will make you miss God.

Jesus taught us radical amputation in

“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched; Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
